There is a lot of great songs on this album.

The album kicks off with Hawk Nelson's signature rock/punk sound with "Tally-Ho" which flows right into "Your Love Is A Mystery."

Hawk Nelson has sold over 500,000 albums so far in their career and are getting ready to release their 5th studio album, Crazy Love, on February 8th. The album kicks off with Hawk Nelson's signature rock/punk sound with "Tally-Ho" which flows right into "Your Love Is A Mystery." What sets this album apart from previous offerings is the lyrical content, best exhibited in several stand-out songs. "Your Love Is A Mystery" has a great prayerful message "You love me Jesus it's a mystery, You know my faults, You know my wrongs and You still love me" combined with a great synth-rock musical style, similar to "Let's Dance." With Crazy Love, Jason Dunn, Danny Biro, Jonathan Steingard and Justin Benner continue the call for action heard on the band's last studio album Live Life Loud. Inspired by Francis Chan's book Crazy Love, Dunn and producer Ian Eskelin wrote the title track and debut radio single as a greater wake-up call to love: "This book made me realize how much God loves each and every one of us," says Dunn. "Sometimes submerged in a Christian environment, we lose perspective of what Jesus did for us on the cross. We need to wake up and grasp the meaning of what he did; Jesus made something completely unattainable, attainable, and we are called to live in and practice that same `crazy' love."

"Crazy Love" has quickly become my all-time favorite song by this great band and I am very convicted by the great lyrics: "We're the ones gonna put it all in reverse, Gonna die to ourselves, gonna live to serve." If you haven't had the chance to read the book by Francis Chan, this song is a great primer about the challenge to Christians in James 2:17 (NKJV): "Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Here's my thoughts and ratings on them. I always listen to a cd twice over before reviewing it. I sum up the cd at the end.

1.Tally Ho-I like it ok, but it kind makes me think of Santa Clause when he says ho-ho. Kinda punchy and sounds like total fun to play on guitar. 2.5 stars.

2.Your Love Is A Mystery-I LOVE this one, I thought it was hilarious here, "I pray sincerely that your love is truly blind", that was great. It's gotta a great beat, great lyrics, something to work out to. I loved the message of the song, I loved the way they presented it, it's pretty great. 5 stars.

3. Crazy Love-I absolutely love this song as well, it's the reason I decided to get the cd. I love the presentation of the song and the message in the song. I can't decide if I still like this one better than Your Love Is A Mystery or not. 5 stars.

4.My Last Breath-I thought this was a good one. It's slower than the other ones, and has a great message. This is a really great worship song, gotta get this down on guitar. 4 stars.

5.We're Alright-This is an ok song. It's kind of a care-free, let go kind of song, just what I need right now. Kind of what I need right now. Great jam song but not one of my favorites on the cd. 3 stars.

6.Skeleton-I never was too fond of this one, sounds kind of fun on guitar. I like the lyrics, but there's something about it that makes me not like it as much as the others. 2 stars.

7. We Can Change The World-I thought this was a pretty great song. Loved the lyrics. It's really got a great message, totally true and inspiring. We really need to get up and start changing the world before it changes us. Gotta be the underdogs and help those who need help, we really are God's hands and feet.

This album is pretty good. I've been a fan of Hawk Nelson for a few years now. I really like the lyrics on this album, they catch you. I also enjoy the sound on this album. Crazy Love is an album you want by Hawk Nelson, don't skip out on this album. There is a lot of great songs on this album. This album is a mix of fast, and slow songs, and somewhere in between. I like the mix of things on this album, because I think it's good, because it reaches out to a bigger audience. My favorite songs on this album are:
1. We Can Change The World
2. Done Holding On
3. My Next Breath
4. Your Love is A Mystery ( I like this song for the lyrics )
5. We're Alright

The songs that I think are alright on this album are:
1. Thanks For The Beautiful Memories
2. Crazy Love
3. Skeleton
4. One Shot

The songs I'm not that into on this album are:
1. Joanna
2. Fraud
3. Tally...
