Book Description

November 15, 2004
The Crazy Old White Man was the street name given to the author when he lived in the hood. It is about his life and how he became The Crazy Old White Man and those who were a part of his life during that time. You will get a look at the drug culture and the streets of Detroit. You will meet addicts and people of the streets. The author pulls no punches and is honest and straightforward about the events in his life. There are some success stories and some failures. There are some laughs and some tears. It is real life, and it shows that the people of the streets are normal people who may have made a wrong turn in life. They are lost souls who need to find themselves.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Crazy Old White Man from the Hood, October 8, 2005
This review is from: The Crazy Old White Man from the Hood (Paperback)
A REAL THOUGHT PROVOKING BOOK BY A PERSON WHO HAS LIVED THIS LIFE AND LIVED TO TELL ABOUT IT.
A TERRIFIC INSIGHT ON THOSE PEOPLE YOU SEE ON THE STREET BUT PRETEND THAT THEY DON'T EVEN EXIST.
THE AUTHOR DOESN'T PULL ANY PUNCHES ABOUT HOW HE LIVED ON THE STREETS AND CONTINUES TO HELP THE UNFORTUNATES THAT HE COMES ACROSS OR THOSE THAT SEEK HIM OUT.
I LEARNED A LOT ABOUT THE AUTHOR THROUGH HIS WORDS.
IT IS SOMETIMES HARD TO READ WHEN THE STORIES DON'T GO THE WAY YOU THINK THEY THEY SHOULD, BUT THROUGHOUT THE BOOK AND HIS LIFE HE REMAINS UPBEAT.
THIS IS IS ONE TO READ AND REREAD.
YOU'LL WANT TO SHARE IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS.
