This was a very funny movie.

Once again Hollywood makes fun of the serious issue of Mental Illness without having any social conscience whatsoever.

The crazy people are just hysterical and I recommend this movie to anyone who needs a good laugh!

It's so refreshing to watch a movie that stands on its great story, lovable characters, and genuine wit. Dudley Moore is charming in this role, where he brings out the best in the pure-hearted residents of the sanitarium. The only thing keeping it from being a perfect family film is the R-rated adult language - parents beware! Though I'll admit, I watched this one as a kid and am pretty sure the language just went over my head. I loved George with his box of 'hellos', Manuel's macho approach to writing car ads, and so many classic lines..."Mental health is so important these days."

I decided to write a review because time and time again there are things that I come across in life that harken back to this movie. It's been nearly 15 years since the movie was released and yet I still remember many of the jokes from this film and many of the characters. I always recommend that people go get this movie. It's good for laughs and while it's no Oscar contender, you'll never forget it!

I remembered the movie being funnier than it seems to me today, but I love the concept.
There was more language and innuendo than I remembered, too.
Until it erupts into a romcom it's alright.
Okay for pizza night without kids at home.

A very good movie about the madness that is advertising. I bought this on a recommendation from a friend - who's passion is SAABs, and who mentioned that one of the inmates in a mental facility is "crazy" about a SAAB turbo.

I found it funny, entertaining, and a welcome escape from the daily onslaught of Madison Avenue. Dudley Moore and Darryl Hannah hit it off greatly in this story of redemption and revenge.

It's old, but it's a decent movie. My husband loves the movie, for me it's just so so. Decent plot.

We have watched about 4 times since it's release. As always, Dudley nails his character shares the story line with many stars.
