From the Author
Over the years we've made about one hundred of these quilts, and we've expanded the techniques to two new books as well. We often hear from quilters who have made many, many quilts using the methods taught in the book, and quite a few have gone on to teach the process at their local quilt shops, community schools, quilt guilds, girl scouts and more.
If you really want to finish your own quilts, and you'd like to use the decorative stitches on your sewing machine, this is the book for you!
Check out our two newer books for more project ideas: The book "Finish (almost) Any Quilt" teaches how to use our quilt-as-you-go process on traditional block patterns and "Quilt As You Go {reimagined} teaches you how to make modern looking quilts (it's all about showing off the fabrics) using slight twists to the block joining process.
Both authors, Sarah and Marguerita, blog and post on Facebook and we invite you to visit our website, where we feature photos of quilts made using the methods in our book that are sent to us by our quilting readers.
Contact information for us is on our website and we'd love to hear from you! Questions? Email us! If you've made one of our quilts, we would just love to feature it on the blog and website!
