So others know, this is not the complete original Crazy Taxi. The music is not the same. It is not as bad as the new Dreamcast Collection but its not the iconic tunes which helped invent the atmosphere of the classic game on Dreamcast.

The rest of the game is all there. It has a config tool which provides some enhancements. But the resolution is limited to a max of 1280x960. If you are looking for bigger, you will be out of luck here.

Overall, yeah its a classic game I loved, but knowing it is not a straight port of the original, I probably would have saved the money on this. There is an option to remedy this but you need to get a hold of the songs from the original and swap them into the game files. It is not hard, they are all in mp3 anyways and there is a folder in the game marked music.

Mostly this review is to advise others who are hoping to pick up a PC version with the original songs and avoid the DC collection. Looks like you'll have to edit the game yourself just like the other release.

THE PC GAME WAS PURCHASED FOR A 12 YEAR OLD AND WITH THE ADDITION OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND PEDALS, SHE IS HAVING THE TIME OF HER LIFE. I LOOKED ALL OVER THE INTERNET TRYING TO FIND AN ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE GAME AND AMAZON.COM WAS THE ONLY SOURCE. THANKS AMAZON.COM
