5.0 out of 5 stars "THE BEST OF HYPNOTIZE MINDS/ THREE 6 MAFIA"
"Crazyndalazdayz" wasn't welcomed when it first came out, mainly due to the lead single "Hypnotize Cash Money," which was only average at best. However, "Slob on My Knob" became an underground club anthem during 1999/2000. Unfortunately, the rest of the album never recieved nearly as much attention as it deserved. 3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good
I have to give this cd 3.5 stars cause its only about half good. The second half of the cd has some real heat on it though. A must buy for any 3-6 fan

5.0 out of 5 stars "THE BEST OF HYPNOTIZE MINDS/ THREE 6 MAFIA", April 11, 2005

"Crazyndalazdayz" wasn't welcomed when it first came out, mainly due to the lead single "Hypnotize Cash Money," which was only average at best. However, "Slob on My Knob" became an underground club anthem during 1999/2000. Unfortunately, the rest of the album never recieved nearly as much attention as it deserved. This was a different type of album for 3-6, who paired Paul, J, and Lord Infamous to form Tear Da Club Up Thugs. Unlike previous efforts, Crazyndalazdayz concentrated less on the demonic raps, and more on club-oriented cuts with heavy bass. Whereas "Ch. 2: World Domination" had a lot more of an eerie sound, this album featured angrier and drug-fueled subject matter. This is by far 3-6's most aggressive album, and it's shocking that it didn't catch the mainstream's appeal. For any fan that is just starting to get into 3-6, this is the opportune starting point since the material still sounds relatively new. The production is top-knotch, unlike previous efforts such as Prophet Posse's "Body Parts." Some other standout tracks include "Smoked Out (ft. Twista)," "Wet Party (ft. Spice 1)," "Big Business," "Triple Six Clubhouse," "N*ggas Worst Downfall," and "I'm Losing It," which samples some dialogue from "The Usual Suspects." For all 3-6 fans, this is the closest I've heard to a Lord Infamous solo album; he is showcased on this album more than any other rapper.

Tear Da Club Up Thugs are three of the members of Three 6 Mafia. DJ Paul, Juicy J and Lord Infamous' release Crazyndalazdayz is one of the best releases from Hypnotize Minds. Track 1, "DaLazDayz" get you ready for what to come even though it's just an interlude that Paul and Juicy talk over. "Smoked Out" featuring Twista where all four laced this track. The hook sets it off with the rough voiced Lord saying "...I'm smoked out, snorted out, drunk, and I'm blowed..." Lord Infamous has three solo songs and he takes us back to the Mystic Styles essence on "I'm Losing It" "When God Calls Time Out" and "Triple Six Clubhouse". On "Hypnotize Cash Money" this is the first time I've heard someone else outshine the Mafia. The Hot Boys & Baby made it Cash Money Hypnotize. Speaking of that DJ Paul stepped up lyrically. The fast paced, crunk "What You Lookin' For" features the flow of Project Pat. The chants of "Elbow A Nigga" "Push 'Em Off" and "Get Buck, Get Wild" sends you in a trans to do just that. Finally the full version of Juicy J's solo song "Slob On My Nob" is a great addition to this 24 track release. "Who The Crunkest" has been answered before this album finishes, Tear Da Club Up Thugs and Three 6 Mafia.

4.0 out of 5 stars these "lazdayz" go out with a bang!, August 23, 2003
This review is from: Crazyndalazdayz (Audio CD)
the blueprint of rap has now been set in stone and, frankly, is now for sale to all unbalanced artists out there. the shape is of a triangle which contains "the scarecrow" lord infamous at one end, "the king of memphis" dj paul at one corner, and "the playboy" juicy j at the other point. the formula is nothing new: since 1991. if u are still stumped by this description it is the tear da club up thugs of the three 6 mafia. why will, not might but will, this work, u might ask? well let's start. the self-proclaimed superproducers paul and juice have chosen their top mc lord infamous to assist them in announcing southern mystical hardcore bounce rap to the world. not only is infamous great but paul and juice don't fall far behind him lyrically. now you may begin to doubt me and want proof; well here it is: while the first couple album tracks (who da crunkest, smoked out)start off rather dull, "i'm losin it" picks up with infamous' horrifying tales. "throw your set" definately will keep the party live with its chant of 'throw em up!' the thugs keep on keepin it crunk with the next few tracks (even with a stupid meaningless hot boys collabo) but it's once u get to the dope anthem "whatchu lookin fo" when the album goes into overdrive. fatal of the outlawz murders the next track in a good sense, and then the album comes to a closure with the four bangers "big bizness", "push em off", "triple six clubhouse", and "hypnotize camp posse." with the only downsides being the beginning and the hot boys cameo, you'd better check this one out. if three 6 isn't the hottest rap group ever, i don't know where the world went wrong.

4.0 out of 5 stars it is better than an New orleans, Calif., or New York rap, June 24, 1999

This review is from: Crazyndalazdayz (Audio CD)
This cd is stricktly Memphis style rap. It features hot names such as juvenile, BG, Too $hort, and Fatle. The three members of the Tear da club up thugs (Juicy J, Lord infamous, DJ Paul) are all from the Memphis based rap gruop the THREE 6 Mafia. This cd helped to bring Memphis rap into the world. The cd has 2 singles which both have vdeios on BET, Push 'em off and stop haten (feat.Juvenile, BG, Hot Boys, and the Big Tymers.)This cd is better than all No Limit, Cash Money, Death Row, and Def Jam cd put togeather. I am from Tn so this might be why i like it so much but it is an awsome cd no matter where you are from.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome PARTY/ CLUB music, yet still not mainstream so gotta respect 3 6, July 25, 2006
This review is from: Crazyndalazdayz (Audio CD)
This is awesome music to party to. I love 3 6 Mafia because of their horrorcore lyrics n' kickin beats. This album has more drug/alcohol/party lyrics, but still some of the good ol' murder lyrics that makes Three 6 stand out from other rap groups. There are some awesome other artists on here, such as Twista, Juvenile, Cruicial Conflict, The Kaze, n' Project Pat, Gangsta Boo, T-Rock, and Prophet Posse, which have been part of 3 6 before too. This is a really great CD and I would recommend it to pretty much any rap fan. But to 3 6 fans that love their more eerie/horror music, this CD is different. All in all, awesome CD.

Brings back memories! Undercover Freaks, 3-6 clubhouse, and throw your sets are the tightest on this album pretty much. But it was all heat on here...
