5.0 out of 5 stars Rock and Roll is Alive and Well!, September 18, 2006

As long as The Hellacopters roam the planet the taliban don't stand a chance. These guys can murder with the shear force of their sound.Suffice to say this thing ROCKS from start to finish.Plus they have the best taste of any band going today.Detroit rock of the 60's and 70's to be exact(after all this was the best high-energy rock ever produced and will never be surpassed-ever!).They take it all to now and that's why I love em.The covers are all excellent especially"A House is Not a Motel"by the late Great Arthur Lee(we miss you brother-see you on the other side). If you ever wondered what this classic from Love's"Forever Changes"would sound like amped-up here it is and it's great.Long Live The Hellacopters!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hellacopters - 'Cream Of The Crap, Volume 2' (Liquor & Poker), October 15, 2009
This review is from: Cream of the Crap 2 (Audio CD)
Out-standing follow-up to their awesome 'Cream Of The Crap, Volume 2' title (see my review). I mean, I've heard a lot of heavy rock titles in my time - but it rarely gets better than this. Total of twenty-two mind-blistering tracks to practically melt the paint off your walls [on a hot day]. Gut-wretching tunes that I simply couldn't get enough of were their Arthur Lee (of Love, R.I.P.) cover "A House Is Not A Motel", "Another Place", the stunning "Holiday Cramps", "Lowdown" (reminds me of Motorhead), "Times Are Low", "Ain't Nothing To Do" and their well done Black Sabbath's "Dirty Women". Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Crappin' you negative!, June 24, 2008

Both volumes are great, but I think I like this one a little better. Get both! Make sure you get some Radio Birdman (Radio's Appear) and Union Carbide Productions (In the Air Tonight) so you can hear all the stuff they didn't steal from the Stooges and the MC5. Oh yeah - don't forget Sonic's Rendezvous Band! Nicke is Fred Smith and luckily he doesn't have to deal with Patti Smith.
