4.0 out of 5 stars Recognise these tunes? June 18, 2000
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
This is a double CD compilation which has Seb Fontaine and Roger Sanchez mixing it up.
CD1 is quite amazing. It starts off where most DJs take half a CD to build up to. The energy of the CD is infectious. After 2 minutes, it has me bopping in my living room. People who like Nick Warren and Paul Oaky will love Seb's mix. Definitely the better of the two mixes.
Having said that, I like Roger Sanchez's mix on CD2 as well. It is more "housey" and groovy and has a lot of tunes that I recognise from clubbing. It has a number of anthems well placed within the whole mix - Sing It Back by Moloko & Big Love by Pete Heller's Big Love. It can get a bit on the grating side with too many vocals for my liking. Nevertheless, it is a good mix.
Excuse me while I go for a boogie in my living room again....

3.0 out of 5 stars Roger Sanchez in the mix October 10, 2001
By Guga
Format:Audio CD
Not as good as I expected. Too loudly, too many vocals, too much useless noise. Actualy I don't recommend you to purchase this cd, because you'll recieve the album full of not actul music at this moment, maybe 2 years ago it was o.k. but now it's time for real housemusic. The only good side of this compilation is MIXING, Sanchez has done it again, it's superb mixed up tracks. For your information: if you like Sanchez, he has released his first own album called "First contact"

4.0 out of 5 stars Great 1999 IBIZA dance July 2, 2000
Format:Audio CD
A fantastic compilation of Ibiza's summer 1999 soundscape - from house (Sanchez) to trance (Fontaine) - only the best from IBIZA.
Track 1 on Sanchez's CD is positively AMAZING - I'm usually not into house, but this track (which I've never heard since) blew me away - XTRA fun!
