This product comes from Ukraine, and so do the instructions! The English translation is virtually impossible to understand. Unit appears to be well-built, and it really strips the cream out of my goat milk efficiently and quickly. The plastic tub at the top holds 2 gallons, so you can really process a lot of milk quickly. Cleaning is kind of time consuming, but not too difficult. The biggest anxiety I had was trying to figure out the horribly-worded English translation on first assembling this unit! For anyone buying this unit, I recommend it highly, and save you some grief by giving you some pointers in English!

1. Make sure the milk is WARM, like right out of your pasteurizer or fresh from the goat if you don't pasteurize. If the milk is cool, you won't get any cream at all.

2. Fill the crank case almost to the handle base with 90 weight Hypoid Gear Oil! This is important! Don't use motor oil. Change the oil after 10 uses initially, then every 100 uses after that. NOTE: You have to remove the unit to fill/change the oil because the fill/drain hole is mounted on the side of the unit. DO NOT OVERFILL this or it will leak oil all over your table. The handle gasket is NOT oil tight.

3. The spinning seperator head has an allen screw on top of it. This is your adjustment for how thick/thin you want your cream. Ideal initial setting is FLUSH with the white plastic surface. Don't tighten it down like I did or you won't get any cream at all.

4. The spinning seperator comes completely apart, and you MUST do this after every use. There is a rubber gasket at the bottom that you must remove and clean. The white plastic piece must also come off for cleaning. I use a walnut pick to remove the gasket because it is a little sticky and hard to remove.

I was a little worried purchasing this product because it is so much less expensive than the others I had seen. It does have a few challenges- the directions are translated (from Ukrainian, I assume) so the word choice can be a bit interesting, and it is a complicated device. Perseverance will be rewarded, though. I purchased gear oil for lubrication and that seems to be working fine. You will need to bolt the separator down to something sturdy. Very fun product overall and I am excited to have cream for my coffee!

I am very thrilled with my separator. It works great! Easy to assemble (once I figured it all out), easy to clean and easy to operate. Does a wonderful job. I separate 2 gallons at a time which gives me at least enough cream to make 2 cups of butter, some wonderful butter milk and leaves me with my skimmed milk. Temperature of the milk is important!

This unit separated the cream from the milk, but it did not seem to be well made. After just ten or so uses the gears on the inside broke.

Was as expected with fast shipping for international. The cream was so delicious in a smoothie made of frozen bananas and just a little cream. Great machine! Great seller.
