Its Easy To Create An Indoor Fountain With This Compact, Reliable Pump

it had all the parts, and the pump works..only one problem, the holes in the fountain were too small for the tubing....I will have to make it with bigger holes next time....

I bought this as a replacement for the water pump in a small outdoor waterfall. The original pump finally burned out after many years of dependable service. The pump needs to pump water vertically about 12" in this small waterfall. The price on this little pump from United Pump was good, so I thought I would give it a try. I removed the old pump and installed this one from United Pump. I control the waterfall remotely with a timer via an X10 wall socket. This new pump works great. It comes on every day at 4:30PM and pumps water in the waterfall until 11PM, then it automatically shuts off via X10. I have no complaints and the price was as low as I've seen anywhere for any kind of samll replacement pump.

Worked great for about three weeks, then started getting noisier and within a few days had to be replaced. Too cheap to go through the hassle of mailing it back. Anyone got any suggestions for an indoor fountain pump that last longer than 30 days? I'm 0-for-about-5 with this and other manufacturers!

This is a great little pump for my indoor or covered patio tabletop fountains. They shipped quickly and I had everything ready to attach the pump when they came. Can't beat the price.

Seems like a nice product. Unfortunately, I left it running overnight in a homemade fountain I had just completed which sprung a leak. Over the night, all the water drained out and my pump ran dry and burned out. So, it worked great when I took it out of the box, then I successfully ruined it in less than 24 hours. No fault of the manufacturer though. I'm totally to blame. Too bad I couldn't have seen it in action a little longer. My only regret is that it was a little costly. From now on I'll be salvaging old pumps out of existing tabletop fountains. I've purchased several from the local Goodwill for about $5.00 each. They can generally be cleaned easily by running the pump overnight with vinegar.

This 2-n-1 combo is great for the beginning or advanced fountain maker. The high quality pump is has an adjustable flow and provides a steady stream of water and the generous length of tubing will allow you to route your most intricate ideas in water.

I bought a big bowl from a local store and use the pump and tubing to route a cascading flow of water over chunks of agate, aventurine and large-ish quartz crystals to create a soft ripple of sound and ever-flowing fresh water - for my cat to drink. It makes a lovely sound, ensures running water for my spoiled feline friend and allows me to display some of my rock collection in a beautiful way. And I made it with this kit.

I'm told the average life expectancy of a fountain pump is a couple of years. When the pump running our water fountain "died" after running daily for over ten years, I assumed that replacing it would be painful and expensive. Not so! This pump was easy to set up, and runs like a champ. It is whisper-quiet, and moves water very efficiently. There is only one minor drawback to this product: No instructions were included, which might confuse a first-time fountain-builder...especially with the presence of clear tubing, which is not necessary for most fountains. While I had no problem, it was only because I already knew what I was doing.

Bought a Halloween Punch Fountain and I lost the power cord, I try another cord and it was super charged and it had a meltdown. Then I found this one here at Amazon and it is a good replacement. Now I can use the punch Fountain for parties.

Wish I had asked dimensions of hose - it turns out it's to fat for my fountain (frog) and at the price I paid it is silly to return.

This little pump was exactly what I was looking for to get my Wife's indoor water fountain back in action.
