They xyron 150 is an incredibly useful little item. Run small items through it and they come out with an even application of clear adhesive on their back. Some people misinterpret the word "sticker" to mean that the machine also laminates the front of the object - it doesn't.

How does it work? The cartridges hold two parts - a sticky side and a clear plastic side. As you pull an item through the machine the two sides are pressed together, sandwiching your embellishment. Tear the tape off once your item is out and then rub over the plastic to transfer the adhesive, then pull the two layers apart and you can peel up your new sticker :)

While it's great for small diecuts and other flat embellishments it really shines with ribbon. Run a length of ribbon through and it can easily be stuck down to any card or scrabook page. The refill cartridges couldn't be easier to change, you can even swap them out halfway through to switch from a permanant to repositionable adhesive without damaging them or making a mess.

I love my little X for all sorts of uses. It is so easy to turn almost anything into a sticker. By "sticker" I mean there is an adhesive backing to stick the item to paper. I have used mine with ribbon, lace, small pictures, small buttons, diecuts, - almost anything that is not too thick and no bigger than 1 and 1/2 inches. Let only your imagination be your guide. I was able to download an idea book right on-line for free at the Xyron site.

The cartridges are easy to use and can be swapped out to change permanent to repositionable. It won't hurt the cartridges to do so.

This has been a small investment for a terrific product. I sometimes wonder how I scrapped and made cards before my purchase of the 150.

I bought this sticker maker when it first came out and I was singing it's praises at my next crop party to my friends. Every one just rolled their eyes like "Uhh Huh Connie yeah whatever" because I'm usually the one to try out all the new gadgets, and things. But after they tried it that night, they all went out and bought one too! Wonderful, wonderful product! I love this thing! I've had mine for two years and never had a problem with it. Keep in mind that the item dimensions that can be inserted in this model are only about 1-1 1/2 inches wide opening. If you are doing a lot of letters for one page, it would be better to use the next size up sticker maker (just so you don't use up your entire cartridge on one go.) The refills though, usually last a while depending on how much you use it. The maker itself is under $8.00 usually, and the refills are easy to insert, and take out. The refills themselves are only about $4.95-$5.00 which in the scrap book world is an incredible value. You can even get the refills in permanent adhesive, or repositionable. If you need to, you can take the item off your paper, and use an eraser to get rid of the sticky stuff, and reposition! If the adhesive sticks to your work surface, and you don't have an eraser handy, you can use the pad of your finger, and the stuff comes right up! I've never cut myself on it, and it's safe for the kids to use. Even my four year old! You can make practically anything into a sticker! The only problem you will have with it is using it so much that you have to keep buying the refills! Buy it! You won't regret it!

I found that some of the tiny pieces I placed in the 150 would flip over before they reached the tape. I have to use really long tweezers to make sure it goes in properly. You can't just reach your fingers in easily to get it out, if it flips. I couldn't do it without the tweezers. It's great for the bigger pieces. I don't recommend this if you are doing a lot of pieces at once, because you have to rub a stylus around all the edges on the outside, and the inside. Otherwise, when you pull off the tape on top, you'll get sticky on the front of your pieces.

This is the easiest little gadget, that has made scrapbooking so much easier. I use to use a glue slick...talk about a MESS! I found so same thing at Walmart, after I'd already bought it on amazon.com though, and it was $3.00 less.

Great product that worked better than we could have imagined! We used this to create our own custom labels for our wedding invitations - it was very easy to use and inexpensive but the end product looked very high end!

I love this product. I have a cricut machine and do lots of titles and small letters. The bigger things are easy to glue, but small letters are next to impossible. This thing is so very handy and I just LOVE it for my scrapbook pages and cards I make. I've had it for months and have used it a lot and I still haven't gone through the first cartridge. Well worth the money!!

I'm a hardcore scrapbooker, and I got impatient with applying glues to the back of my small die cuts. I bought this and it helps so much. It makes scrapbooking so much quicker and easier. I feed it through and the right amount of adhesive is applied to the back of my die cuts, without getting adhesive/glue all over my fingers. I just wish I would have bought it sooner. Its easy to use, easy to replace the cartridge. I have no complaints.

I have been working on a project for my thesis and kept running into problem after problem when I found this little treasure. It turned all the little pieces of my project into easy to place stickers. It is so easy to use, I had my six year old join in to help. Since then, I have used this for all kinds of things around the house and the classroom. Ribbons, pebbles, paper, buttons, rhinestones, leaves, a worm... so many things have been turned into a sticker. I have no clue what will be put through it next but so far it has worked on everything we tried. I have even added a request for 4 more of these to my classroom wishlist as my students love to use this to make things for their writing papers.

I have used mine at least once a day since I got it. Got a really good deal on another shopping site, got the machine and three extra rolls of adhesive for under $20. Also, found the adhesive cartridges at Wal Mart for $4.00 each. And for the people who have complaints about it, hey it is what it is. You put a small item in it, you pull the tape, tear it off and guess what? You have adhesive applied to one side. I don't know what they were expecting.
