Book Description

February 9, 2006
This book is aimed at the photographer who wants to create stunning portraits with minimal equipment while saving time in the digital darkroom. Using very basic equipment in the form of a camera, a flash, a plain backdrop and a chair, I’ll share my method of creating “Vintage” style black and white photographs from full-color originals. We’ll cover setting up the shoot, types of clothing, props, camera angles, and the basic filters you need to transform a good picture into a work of art worthy of a good frame. You don’t have to be a pro to use this technique!

This review is from: How to Create Black & White Vintage Style Portraits With Your Digital Camera (Paperback)
There are a lot of "How to" books out there, but how do you really know if the information you're getting is the right stuff?

Easy: Take it from an expert.

David and I have worked together twice over the past 5 years, and I have to say I am truly impressed with his portrait style. He is an amazing photographer and his technique is second to none. You can buy this book with the confidence that you are getting lessons from one of the best.
