Read this along with Maximum Achievement,
By A Customer
This review is from: Create Your Own Future: How to Master the 12 Critical Factors of Unlimited Success (Hardcover)
This book is excellent and is based on Brian's "Think Big" cassette series by Nightingale-Conant. I would recommend that you read this after or with Maximum Achievement. MA is more complete, but this one has newer material and will help you Think Big and achieve results.

The Textbook On Success,

The first time I heard Brian Tracy I thought he was awfully dull. Then I started to listen to his message and the ideas and concepts sank in. An awful lot of material is common sense and borrowed from other's ideas --- but what success literature isn't?The things that you might find useful about Brian Tracy are: - The ideas are all concise and to the point. These are easy reads and you don't get a lot of extraneous storytelling or religious fanaticism. - His audio tapes mirror his writing. They are concise and contain many powerful yet simple concepts (How about his concept of repeating "I am responsible" over and over -- simple huh? Could never work, right? Try it!). Some of Brian's simplest concepts work great. This particular book, Create Your Own Future, is almost a transcript of his great tape series - The Luck Factor. This is a great opportunity to get a nice written summary of Brian's ideas after listening to the tapes. I really enjoy that he has broken up the ideas into short manageable bits. Give his books a try. They contain all of the success "secrets" in an easily readible format. Highly recommended (I have almost all of them).

A Good Read!,
This review is from: Create Your Own Future: How to Master the 12 Critical Factors of Unlimited Success (Hardcover)
Brian Tracy discusses how to apply the major principles of success and how to achieve your goals. These principles are very familiar to anyone who has participated in success programs or read success literature, so you will sense some déjà vu. Still, Tracy writes with an authoritative, engaging voice, and presents these basic principles as a well-organized quick read, complete with examples. His description of the various "laws" of nature that produce success, such as the "Law of Cause and Effect," the "Law of Subconscious Activity" and the "Law of Belief," contribute to the book's feeling of authority, although the basis for calling such patterns of action and outcome "laws" may be uncertain. Yet, the device works well here, and many readers like to be told exactly what steps to take. In short, we recommend this zippy retelling of popular prescriptions for success - though the prescription is like mother's old-fashioned medicine: nothing new, but it goes down very well.

Now You Can Create a PROACTIVE FUTURE!,
By Randy Gilbert "Best Seller Mentor" (founder of 'BestSellerMentoring.com') - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Create Your Own Future: How to Master the 12 Critical Factors of Unlimited Success (Hardcover)
Brian Tracy is one of my favorite proactive success mentors. I read everything Brian writes and this book is one of his best. Nearly every page now has a note of something that is profound and a strategy I want to follow. His wisdom is clear and eloquent - but more than that it is practical! Everything that I've put into practice that he has recommended has worked. Brian Tracy covers all of the proactive bases: future thinking, positive thinking, intelligent thinking, systems thinking, and spiritual thinking. This book focuses squarely on how to be a future thinker and the benefits that will come into your life. If you are truly seeking the kind of success and abundance that makes your life 100% livable - you must read this book. Many of his ideas are found in SUCCESS BOUND, because it's a book on how to be responsible and live proactively. I recommend you let this book become a part of you. In fact, spending 10 to 15 minutes every morning focusing your thoughts on the truths of this book, will guarantee this wisdom will most assuredly bring you the success and abundance you deserve. Enjoy the book and your new proactive life! Randy (Dr. Proactive) Gilbert, co-host of TheInsidSuccessShow.com

Misleading MIT endorsement,
By
This review is from: Create Your Own Future: How to Master the 12 Critical Factors of Unlimited Success (Hardcover)
I would like to point out to my fellow success literature readers that while this book is very good it contains a very misleading endorsement. On the back cover (which you can see in amazon) it has a raving statement from someone named Mitch Huhem, President, MIT. I was extremely impressed with a self-help book being endorsed by the president of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. So, I went to the MIT site only to conclude that it never had a president named Huhem. I found out that Huhem is president of an insignificant company named MIT Financial (the word financial was conveniently ommitted from the book cover when there was plenty of space in the line to add it). Brian Tracy constantly raves about the importance of values and integrity, so I was disappointed to see that he allowed this misleading statement. As for the create your own future book, like I said it is very good although is just the information from maximum achievement recycled.

Better than Maximum Achievment,
By
This review is from: Create Your Own Future: How to Master the 12 Critical Factors of Unlimited Success (Hardcover)
My personal Brian Tracy book rank would be as Follows:
1. Create Your Own Future 2. Maximum Achievement 3. Eat that Frog 4. Million Dollar Habits 5. Change your Thinking..... 6. Goals 7. Time Power 8. Focal Point These are my "personal" rankings. Maximum Achievement, I thought, was Tracy's watershed book, but along comes Create Your Own Future. There is just something about how the book is laid out and delivers chuncks of useful advice without losing your interest. It probably is the best self help book out right now. If you are new to self achievement products....This should be the first book to read and Tracy covers anything you need from sales to business building to motivation. [...]

Old wine in a new bottle,
By
This review is from: Create Your Own Future: How to Master the 12 Critical Factors of Unlimited Success (Hardcover)
Mr. Tracy has put old wine in a new bottle and come out with a fine product. The knowledge in this book is not new. It is in fact based on very ancient wisdom. The narrative flows in such a way, however, that ideas pop out at the reader and present themselves as revelations.I re-read the book on a regular basis.

Think Big and succeed with Brian Tracy,
This review is from: Create Your Own Future: How to Master the 12 Critical Factors of Unlimited Success (Hardcover)
I have Brian Tracy's Thinking Big audio tape series upon which much of this is based. For those who compare this with Brian's earlier work, in particular, Maximum Achievement all I can say is Maxium was a great book but this one is even better. Brian Tracy is a no nonsense, just the facts type of authr that actually gives you more than your money's worth with his material.Read, thnk big and achieve with Brian Tracy. He is the best.
