This is the book and the series that the movie Remo Williams, The Adventure Begins was based on. A Newark, NJ police officer is framed for the murder of a drug dealer, convicted and sentenced to the chair. At the last minute, the super-secret government agency CURE shows up and offers Remo a way out.Remo is recruited to becomes CURE's weapon of last resort, The Destroyer. He is trained by Chiun, the Korean master of martial arts and Eastern philosophy. The book has long been out of print but is now available again. |
