What my stars mean:
5 Stars--the book had a profound impact on me. It touched me on some special level and lingered with me long after I'd finished reading it.
4 Stars--I loved this book. If I don't own it, I will buy it so I can read it again and again.
3 Stars--I enjoyed the book but may have had an issue or two with it.
2 Stars--I had more than a few issues with it.
1 Stars--I hated it.

BOOK DESCRIPTION
Ari and her friends find themselves in an independent spy school in Belgium, Bresen Academy. Test scores reveal her true abilities and the director wants to send her onto to more advanced training school immediately. She is given a two week reprieve to explore the school's training program and hopefully make amends with both Reese and Marybeth. Despite her lack of advanced training, the director convinces Ari she would be the best fit for a mission that surfaces in Prague with a group calling themselves Division 57. Uncertain, but wanting to please, she agrees. She quickly discovers there is nothing easy about being a spy and finds her very life on the line.

MY TAKE
In this third and last book in the series, Christy aka Ari is finally not on the run anymore. Kinda. She's still running but it's for a different reason. My thought at the end of "Protected" was that she was being given survival skills that would make her great spy material. It seems someone else thought so, too.

In Belgium, you follow her through training and testing in the field as she tries to mend bridges with former friends all while figuring out her feelings for guys from her past and decisions about her future. There's plenty of action and some nice twists at the end. A satisfying conclusion.

"Created" is full of action, intrigue, and suspense as Christy aka Ari finds herself in spy school with several of her friends. She soon starts going on dangerous uncover missions. Christy has spent the past year in the witness protection program and has grown from a shy young girl who didn't fit it in to a confident athletic young women. Her remarkable ability to learn quickly, to think on her feet, and to remember everything that she has seen or read make her a natural spy, a true prodigy. However she soon finds that spying is a hard lifestyle as she is shot and nearly killed.
This is a fun and interesting read. I am an avid reader but have never read another book (or series) quite like this one. If you have ever wondered how those spies on TV got to be so skilled read this series and start with book one "Watched!"

This book is one of the best series I've read in awhile and its going to be hard to beat this book. I love it so much because it is a romance along with some suspense and it even made me tear up in some of the parts. You should read this book it is a book that is hard to put down and it will make you want more books like it. But there is only three!

I loved all of the Watched Series. My only complaint was the typos. However, I did tell family and friends to read the series.

Loved this book the title character has evoled in each of the three books. I would highly recommend this book any age can enjoy the story; and i'm looking forward to hopefully more books with this character in the near future. I believe that there is still alot of unfinished business with the title character and others from this series.

This is my husbands account!
This book was everything I was hoping for. I couldn't put it down. Why isn't this author a New York Time best seller? She is so amazing! I really wish I could discuss the book further but don't want to give anything away. All I can say is it was a great book that you will definitely enjoy reading it.
PS Met Cindy Hogan and she was super sweet!

When I first began reading the series, I was uncertain whether I could truly enjoy a book in the "young adult" genre at age 60... To the contrary, I not only enjoyed this series but have devoured all 3 books in the span of a week - despite working full time in my practice! Cindy Hogan has written a marvelous series that, despite the tender age of her protagonist, should also be a successful crossover into the mystery/espionage genres. Please do continue this series, Cindy!
