I like the detailed explanations, the figures, and the resolved examples that helped me to learn more about the Multimedia factory software in an easy way without complex programming. I think this book is a good reference to beginners for making computer adventure games. Also I believe this type of games would be very useful for educational purposes helping people to test their reactions in a virtual enviroment.
Other customers should consider that this book requires previously a basic knowledge about the Multimedia Factory software features, so I suggest first to check it visiting the Clickteam web page and dowloading the demo.

I paid $27 for this book new, It talk of objects for MMF 2.0 but gives you no way of obtaining the object. I bought the other book in this series and they all came with CDs. This one didn't and that is quite disappointing. So you won't be able to use the info if you can get the game making object to use with MMF. So it will be $27. I went to the website and you can obtain them there by buying another download copy of the book at $35 and then they give access to the extra materials,

I bought this for my son and his friend to see if they would enjoy making games. I homeschool and was going to teach it as a class, but I didn't realize that the demo was only going to be for 30 days! We hold class once a week and will not finish that quickly. We are on a budget and I don't know if I can afford the $119 for the program. Wish this was pointed out in the description of the book.
