This is a beautiful and informative book. Cynthia Norwood has gone the extra mile in having these rugs photographed professionally. She is a talented fiber artist herself and she has given us a beautiful book that deserves a place in every traditional rug hookers' library. Well written book and rich colored photos. Easy to understand and helpful. I like it so much that I purchased two - one to keep and one to give as a gift.

This book is an exceptional guide in creating an Antique Look in Hand- Hooked rugs. The author also has extensive knowledge of Antique Paisley. I was lucky enough to take a 3 day rug hooking class from her. She is a fabulous teacher and writer as well. I read this book from cover to cover several times. I have used the dye recipes. I have made several rugs highlighted in this book.

This book was great! It inspired me to create a custom rug, that was a spinoff of one of the antiques pictured inside. It was well worth the money. I know have a rug that would be very costly to purchase, but made it myself and it is beautiful.

This book has pretty pictures and it does tell you how to dye yarn but there doesn't seem to be enough information especially for a beginner.

This is a terrific book with clear suggestions and wonderful examples of how to create an antique look for modern day rug-hookers.

This is a beautiful book, full of photos and inspiration for all hookers. I am very pleased with it and will use some of the suggestions in my future rugs.
