3.0 out of 5 stars The Engineer's Guide to Product Development, June 14, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Creating Innovative Products Using Total Design (Hardcover)
While this book is written for engineers to understand the principles of the product development process, anyone involved within the process can benefit from the models. The book is actually a collection of essays from the author. There is some overlapping material, but for the designer, it makes the models easier to understand. I would recommend this text to anyone who is trying to get a grasp on the communication levels of the product development cycle. It stresses the importance of interdepartmental dependence and how each element fits into the models.
