The box boasts things like 50,000 Irresistible Images well most of the images are old early ninties clip art. There is only about two different paper designs that come in 10 different colors. This 40 software isn't even worth a free download. None of the images have a photo releastic quality to them. Do not buy this product. I am shocked that Creating Keepsakes would put their name on it.

..you can make this software work for you. Like the other consumers I was incredibly disappointed in the "50,000 Irresistible Images" that the program offered. Most of them were fairly cheesey or tacky. Their selection of embellishments was also disappointing - not an eyelet, brad, or strand of ribbon to be found anywhere! Just some pre-made tags and scraps that only coordinate with specific colors.

The better news in all of this is that the software is incredibly easy to use and understand. If you need help you'll have to refer to the tutorials and help index that come with the software since no manual or booklet was included (another downfall). They don't even explain to you what the two extra CDs are for. Luckily CK included some of their great original fonts; I didn't count how many overall but it was an absolutely fantastic selection. The easy-to-use feature of this product is the best (and possibly only) reason to buy this software.

You will find multiple sites for digital scrapbooking downloads (two of my favorites are twopeasinabucket and digitalscrapbookplace) if you Google for them and can import their products into CKSD. The software is supposed to support PNG files (which are frequently found in digital scrapbooking downloads) but so far I've found that to be untrue since all of my PNGs either don't show up or appear distorted.

Overall the advertised features on the front of the box don't hold up to expectations and I'm very surprised that CK put their name on a product that they quite possibly didn't even have a hand in creating. Still, this is one of the better options out there in a very small market of digital scrapbooking software.

I got this so that I could do something with all of the pictures I was taking with my digital camera. I didn't want to print them all because then I have to put them in a photo album and I am NOT so good about that. This product is easy to install, easy to use and I LOVE IT! I do agree that some of the clip art isn't so great but there are alot that are. Clip art isn't everything anyway, your not making a clip art scrapbook your making a photo scrapbook. I have about 3 other scrapbooking programs and don't use one of them. This is my all time favorite and I do highly recommend it to ALL of my friends, family and YOU!!!

This software is very limited. There are very few backgrounds, the clipart is uninteresting. there are very few frames and borders. The photo tool is primitive. I expected more from a product with the creating keepsakes name on it. this product is a waste of time and money.

Being a first time mom with a one year old, I don't have alot of time to scrapbook. A friend of mine told me about this product, and loved it so I bought it as well.
I got it last night and I can't say enough good things about it. Infact I am going today to buy a new printer so I can print everything I made last night. It is so very simple, I just navagated around the program and learned on my own how to do things. I love this program and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get into scrapbooking.

I have had a computer since 1968 before "programs" were for sale. We had to write them ourselves. When Print Shop first came out it was Fantastic! Now we have "Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Designer" and it is even better!!! I use it every day to make the photo pages for our 25 grand and great grand children as I have a book for each of them.

This is one of the best things I have ever spent money on. I am a computer junkie and a scrabooking junkie and I just love how you can print out one sheet that has all the photos and clipart on it. Spend the money on the full-size pieces of photo paper instead of plain printing paper--it's worth it! The best part is how you can shrink or blow up the pictures--if you are scrabooking by hand you are stuck with one size photo. All of the photo edges and other photo options are great. There are endless clipart options and many page textures to choose from. The headings are bold and easy to customize. I love, love, love it!

I will admit that I am literally the biggest computer idiot on God's green earth, but when my husband, who has a masters degree in information technology, (and as much common sense as a man can have) can't even delete a single picture out of this program, you know something is not right. You can only upload one picture at a time. Who has time for this? The program crashes at will, so you literally have to save after doing something as simple as rotating an image. I never got a single page finished before I threw it out. In the time it took to installed, wiped it from my hard drive because it crashed every time I tried to open it, reinstall, I could have finished at least 6-10 pages of regular paper scrapbooking. UGH! This program is awful. I gave it one star because there was not an option for zero stars.

Since I'm a graphics artist as well as the real thing, I bought this product for a scrapbook job. Never having experienced any problem with Borderbund before, I trashed the box and then tried to install Disk 1, Installation. It kept going to setting preferences for scanning! Then I tried running it from their Run instructions. This didn't work either. At least three times I tried both ways, but to no avail. I wrote to Encore and Amazon both. Encore didn't respond until this a.m. to tell me that I could not use this product unless I uninstalled my Epson printer and scanner, installed the program and then reinstalled my printer/scanner! No way was I going to allow their program to tell my computer what it could and could not do! Anyway, Amazon responded promptly to tell me that in spite of my trashing the box they were going to refund the $39.99 charged. So, lesson learned: do the install first! I'm still in shock about Broderbund's whacko program. I've worked with them for years and have really liked their programs that have worked just fine until now. At the very least, they should advise this on the box so you know this will haved to be done.

This software is ideal for using digital photographs to create a wide variety of products!
