About the Author

Since the beginning of his sales career in 1989, Matthew Ferry has dedicated himself to mastering techniques of persuasion and influence. As someone who was born into a sales family and eventually became a salesperson at a very young age myself, I have always found that I am in the best feeling state when I am in a position to be able to help others. Matthew shares with us in his book, Creating Sales Velocity, that as a conscious salesperson, you are contribution to others. I recommend this read and I recommend you buy extras because you will want to share with everyone you know about what you have just learned or affirmed to be true. It feels liberating to know that you are on the right path and that the manipulative way of sales is and always will be wrong. This book lifts you up into a higher state of consciousness. Once you have read this book you will see the world with a new set of eyes. It is, and always has been, the job of a sales person to help out others. Keep selling with good intentions and watch the good feelings flow through you, the cash flow to you, and the life you always dreamed of manifest and become attracted to you. Enjoy the read. I recommend it highly!

I've read the book three times and will read it as many times as it takes to get this information into the deepest level of my unconcious mind. This information, once mastered, will provide the reader with the best influence tools to do business in the 21st century. Third party examples show how simple mindset shifts can make dramatic changes in a person's ability to attract sales.

This is one of the best books I have ever read regarding anything close to sales. Easy read and you'll read it more than once! The only problem is it wears out quickly. My pages are begining to fall apart. The content in this little book are some of the most valuble in all areas of ones life!

First, I will say that I don't remember ever ordering, "Creating Sales Velocity," so when it arrived in the mail I was a bit puzzled. I was intrigued by the subtitle: A Pocket Guide to Becoming a Conscious Salesperson. I don't really consider myself to be a salesperson, but as a business woman, sales is definitely part of what I do, so I decided to read it and see what it had to offer, and boy was I in for a surprise.

Don't be misled by the title because this little book is really about how to become a better conscious creator in all aspects of life not just in the arena of sales. Written by Matthew Ferry, who calls himself a, "Happiness Expert," Creating Sales Velocity contains several simple processes which Ferry calls games that help the reader develop their ability to manifest what they want. When you become a more conscious creator and you are manifesting your desires through service to others, happiness is a natural by-product.

If you are a sales person looking to step up your game, I imagine that reading this book and putting the processes into action will transform your career and your life. Ferry writes about making a contribution rather than making sales. He shares concepts such as, `The shift from self-absorption to awareness of others, taking responsibility for everything, and the fact that action does not get results just might rock your world a little bit.

Ferry manages to cram an abundance of practical wisdom into this little guide book. As I read this powerful book I could feel the love and devotion that Ferry has for his readers. Here's an example:

The book is an excellent read in its entirety and then keep it handy for thumbing through and picking up to re-energize and re-focus. I like it as a quick mindset break.

The audio version is on my phone and iPad, so I can listen while on the road and on the go. An added plus as one reviewer wrote, you won't wear out the pages from the constant reading.

An inspiring, insightful book, full of ideas about how to get our self-centered, me oriented world. Matthew Ferry smiles at his world and encourages the reader to live a life of contribution. "Selling is not about you ... people care about how you make them feel..." It's the kind of book you will need to re-read every year because there is so much in it!

Matthew Ferry has put together a great compilation of the principles from great writers regarding the topic of personal development. I highly recommend this book and the tape series that compliments it. He very deftly explains how to "get out of our own way" and let our natural talent and strengths prevail.

For anyone in sales this is must read and listen, and who among us is not in sales???

From housewives, teachers, to ministers, family members, and people from all walks of life are all sales people by virtue of the fact that we all are communicating principles, habits, ideas, ethics, etc. to everyone we interact with.

Since everyone is communicating ideas to someone else, we all are "selling" in one way or another. The resources mentioned above go a long way to make our communications more effective and fruitful.
