I refer to this book often. It has sparked my creativity and also helped me with more technical details thanks to the step by step guide to each project. On some projects, I would have liked even more details but anybody who's been scrapbooking for a while will have fun with this book.
I also have the second one in the series: Photo Art. Another good book but I still find Creative albums the most useful to me.
Definitely would recommend it to anyone even beginners!

I think this book is great. There are so many albums to choose from with complete step by step directions with supplies, materials and tools listed. I borrowed this book from a friend last night and read it cover to cover before bed. Choose from a CD album, tag album, bound paint chip album, CD tin album, gated album, blue jean album, coin envelope album, rolodex album, and shopping album. There are several more to choose from. Great step by step photos! A must for the out of the box scrapper! Enjoy!

This was the first book of Donna's I got, and it is great! She has such creative ideas for making albums. I especially love the Rolodex. If you want to move beyond regular albums in your scrapbooking, this is a great place to start.

I bought all three of Donnas books and am so happy. I make custom scrapbooks for a living and am always looking for different elements and designs for my clients albums...not to mention my own. The book is very easy to follow with simple step by step instructions and she gives a list of where to buy all the products she uses. I highly recommend this and the other two books for anyone who is ready to experiment and move away from the regular albums to incorporate the WOW factor on their bookshelf at home!

Creative Albums is full of wonderful ideas with easy to follow instructions. Donna's fun narration combined with the fresh colors and textures in the project photos will delight you.

I love all three of Donna Downey's books in this series! They include projects that I will complete! I refer to it over and over again, for projects and techniques. Projects are easily adaptable to supplies I have on hand. I would recommend this book to both beginners and advanced crafters.

How fun is this book?? Donna D. will open your eyes to what a scrapbook is, and exactly how to create one from the ordinary and everyday items you find around your home. Forget about heading to the scrapbook store -- dig through your office supplies or the junk drawer instead! Inspiring.

This book is really creative utilizing more than just scrapbooks for creating memories and beautiful items for your home or desk. I was inspired by many of the projects.

I really enjoyed this book & see it being an often referred to resourse on my shelf. I like Donna Downey's style & this book helps beginners/advanced scrappers achieve the little details that make for a stand out mini album. I'd recommend buying this to friends & others.
