Take a quick look at what edition this book was written for and scratch it out of your memory. The universal ideas presented in this tome are both useful and easy to follow.

You can use the ideas from this book to design adventures for any role playing game. Whether it's the newest D&D edition or a superhero rpg that you've made up yourself. The ideas are universal.

That is why this book is still sought after.

Read it, absorb it, master it.

If you need to spice up your DMing a bit, give this a whirl. It has a couple of good fresh ideas that could help improve any given campaign even though the rules are dated.

This book is great for any serious DM. It helps immensely with new DMs and will give even the best DM new ideas. If you've ever felt lost DMing, this book will definately help.
