5.0 out of 5 stars A gift to your creative soul January 20, 2001
Format:Paperback
Sark's work on creativity is a joy to read and an inspiration for your creative soul.

Do not expect the ordinary from this extraordinary book. It is filled with juicy inspirational tidbits and creativity assignments housed in a stunningly beautiful, fun and colorful case. There is nothing out there to compare this work to. It is just very creative and unique.

As the author of Aha! - 10 Ways To Free Your Creative Spirit and Find Your Great Ideas, I am always searching for great books to fuel creativity. Sark's work is at the top of my list.

Sark's book, A Creative Companion, is marvelous! Once I picked it up, I read the entire book. Sark reminds us all how to be in touch with what it is to really "LIVE" and enjoy it with our surroundings, whatever they may be! The insite she gives us on "How to be really alive" is just what anyone with a heart needs. One will rediscover what it is to treasure another person and to also treasure one's self!!! Be prepared, this book will transform you everytime you read from it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Creative Sark-style workbook! Light and Fun! July 25, 2000
Format:Paperback
In usual Sark-style, you will find colorful messages in her own printing. Sark continues to use color and snipets of thought to free the reader's own thoughts and creativity. This book is set up with some workbook style pages which aid the reader into their own creative thinking and fun. I continue to add Sark titles to my collection and this one is definately worthwhile. I also collect her throws, "HOW TO REALLY LOVE A CHILD" and "HOW TO BE AN ARTIST." Her work is truly light, fun and childlike. It also has great perception and insight.

3.0 out of 5 stars SARK cracks me up.
Sometimes SARK's completely over the top giddyness and "you-can-do-it" attitude are almost humorous in their delivery. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Scribbles and platitudes
There really isn't much to say about this book. It's cute and makes for nice eye candy. But it has more platitudes than suggestions and I wouldn't recommend it as a stand-alone. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, but buy it used
I love SARK's work, that being said, I'd buy this book used.

It has all the things that we associate SARK with, the handwriting, the color, the great ideas, the feel good smile... Read more
