Sark's work on creativity is a joy to read and an inspiration for your creative soul.

Do not expect the ordinary from this extraordinary book. It is filled with juicy inspirational tidbits and creativity assignments housed in a stunningly beautiful, fun and colorful case. There is nothing out there to compare this work to. It is just very creative and unique.

3.0 out of 5 stars SARK cracks me up.
Sometimes SARK's completely over the top giddyness and "you-can-do-it" attitude are almost humorous in their delivery. But that was exactly what I needed at the time in my life when I came across this book. It is filled with motivating mantras and mesmerizing manipulations. I was awed by her enthusiasm and by her desire to fill others with that same enthusiasm. I...

Sark's book, A Creative Companion, is marvelous! Once I picked it up, I read the entire book. Sark reminds us all how to be in touch with what it is to really "LIVE" and enjoy it with our surroundings, whatever they may be! The insite she gives us on "How to be really alive" is just what anyone with a heart needs. One will rediscover what it is to treasure another person and to also treasure one's self!!! Be prepared, this book will transform you everytime you read from it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Creative Sark-style workbook! Light and Fun!, July 25, 2000

In usual Sark-style, you will find colorful messages in her own printing. Sark continues to use color and snipets of thought to free the reader's own thoughts and creativity. This book is set up with some workbook style pages which aid the reader into their own creative thinking and fun. I continue to add Sark titles to my collection and this one is definately worthwhile. I also collect her throws, "HOW TO REALLY LOVE A CHILD" and "HOW TO BE AN ARTIST." Her work is truly light, fun and childlike. It also has great perception and insight.

5.0 out of 5 stars Take at look at the deeper message, September 23, 1999
By A Customer

Yes, it seems childish on the surface and you feel a little silly doing some of the exercises, but SARK is RIGHT ON. The message in the pages is deep and wise and very, very inspiring. A must read.

5.0 out of 5 stars It gave me a new motivation!, November 19, 1998

This review is from: A Creative Companion: How to Free Your Creative Spirit (Paperback)
I use this book to help keep me from getting bogged down in day-to-day life. It is a wonderful, uplifting, thought-provoking book. The best part is that it requires no commitments. I read a paragraph or maybe only a page at a time. I have really been frustrated with my job lately, and everytime the turkeys get me down and I sink into self-doubt, I pick up this book and it helps return the spring to my step! I am also enjoying Living Juicy by Sark - check it out!

This was my first SARK book, but not my last. I have everything she's done, be it books, cards, calendars. She is as insightful and delightful in person as are the works she creates. Treat yourself. Bet you can't do just one!

I love SARK and have seen her speak but this was the first book of hers that I actually purchased. I loved it. I look forward to completely the exercises and places of examination that she creates in the book. When I read her work, I am brought to a place of self-reflection and learn so much more about myself.

Every word and drawing that splash from SARK'S pens and crayons play joyfully with your inner child and wildly applaud the grown woman/man. SARK is a colorful, multi-flavored snowcone of an author!
