Although very cheap, these speakers deliver great value! Crystal clear audio and great bass, these speakers are perfect for just about any use. The Corded remote makes ajdusting the volume easily acessible. The power switch is a little smaller, and more out of the way, but you can get used to it. To experience the full 4.1 surround sound, you need to have a creative sound card, or one that supports the 4 chanel output. otherwise you're limited to 2 front speakers. Overall, its a fairly decent set of speakers, and very good for the price!

When I got a new computer several months ago, with DVD compatability, I got rid of my television. Now I only watch movies on the computer. But the speakers which came with the computer were horrible to say the least.

When I finally purchased this particular speaker system, I was amazed at the sound quality. I'm not an electronics guru or anything like that, so I am easily intimidated by stuff like this. But the setup was very easy, straightforward, and self-explanatory. Very little instruction was required. One thing which was required (and is not included in the package) was a Y-plug. This may be required for most computers. If you end up needing one and don't have one, you can still enjoy quality sound from two of the four speakers. But Y-plugs are very inexpensive.

I highly recommend this system.

These Creative SBS 450 sounds crisp, with a booming bass subwoofer and very nice midrange. It's a little lacking in the high range though, but that's probably due to the tiny 3 inch satellite drivers.

Buy two more 12 feet RCA extension cables and you can wire up your room with four speakers on each corner in the ceiling, makes for an amazing mini home theater.

The wired remote is also a big plus, now you don't have to craw around to adjust the volume.

All in all, as a first time Creative speakers customer, these exceeded my expectations.

I use this product and am very pleased with the sound I
get from the speakers. I am not an audiophile but I know
the sound I get is great on every genre of music I have
played. It is so good that my Wife asked that I buy them
for her PC.
The only draw back is the lenth of the cables to the remote
speakers. I would prefer them to be longer but that is
because of the shape of my computer room.
When you buy them, I hope you are as pleased as we are
with the sound.

This speaker set is well worth the money. The sound quality is better than anything I've heard before, and best of all -- it's cheap. If you're debating whether or not to buy this set, go for it.

If there was anything that I hated about my previous speaker system (a Cambridge SoundWorks PC Works 2.1), it was having to crawl under my computer desk & reaching in the back of its subwoofer just to turn the damn thing off. With the Creative Labs SBS 450 4.1, I just reach for the on/off switch on its wired remote control (which I installed right next to my keyboard) to do that. I was surprised, though, that this system didn't come with any velcro strips, speaker stands or brackets, which would give you numerous speaker placement options. And other than a drawing on the back of the box (it tells you how to place the speakers) and a diagram on a flap at the top (that tells you how to connect everything), there's nothing resembling an instruction manual to help you out at all. This system, though, gives you great sound at a fairly reasonable price. And if you've had similar systems before, you should be able to set it up fairly quickly.

I bought this and tossed out the satellites and use quality Energy speakers, so I'm using the subwoofer and its amplifier. I find that this is excellent use of this product. The amp has no extraneous noise. There is a volume control on this and I use it about 1/3 of the way up or sometimes less. It's plenty loud enough for the 14 x 20 room we use as a bar.

People, listen up, if you want absolute power and value get these. 66W of power(41 RMS). I was hesitant at first but I got them and they rock. The wired remote is soooo cool.

What can i say about these speakers they're decent i was excited to get 4.1 speakers but i expected more, the wire snapped on one of them. it doesn't have a headphone jack on it and the controller constantly falls of the desk and they crackled thought it wasn't very noticeable but besides all that they aren't that bad and it has good bass and they go pretty loud (They drive my sis crazy) The major turn down the no headphone jack now i have some logitecs and i love them.

if you want every dollar to count go for this 4.1 surround sound system. I searched best buy and circuit city for an adaquate surround system for under $65... could only find 2.1 for $50. so i went to walmart and saw this 4.1 surround system. wat do u think when you purchase any electronics at walmart? no so great, 66watts didn't seem so great to share between 4 speakers and a sub huh? hahaha well i was wrong i use this to play all my music (ditched my sterio) my games and any other multimedia experience. the sub delivers clear and sharp frequencies and the the speakers deliver clear sharp sound... don't hesitate you can't to wrong. also the adjustable master volume is very useful for adjusting volume without having to click on ur desktop... love it, wat more can i say
