This book is suitable for and useful to both beginners and the experienced cake decorator. If you have not used cutters before or would like some new ideas,this should prove helpful. It used European style fondant / sugarpaste medium. the tools used are basic though some cakes require the purchase of some 'patchwork cutters,' if you don't already have any. The illustrations and instructions are clear and easy to follow. Cookie cutters which are readily available in the United States could be used for some of the designs. It is full of useful ideas for it's modest price.

There are some beautiful cake designs in this book.It contains only twelve cake designs.It does cover tools & equipment,recipes and step by step pictures.Some examples of what it has is:teddy bear cake,peacock cake,rose petal cake,and little girls dancing.
