More About the Author

Graham Blackburn was born in London, England. After studying at the Juilliard School in New York he played with numerous bands in the sixties and seventies, including Van Morrison, Maria Muldaur, and Full Tilt Boogie, as well as recording his own music for the Warner Bros. label. He built several houses in Woodstock, NY and for more than thirty years built custom furniture on both sides of the continent. He has written many books on woodwork, furnituremaking, and home repair, and been editor and contributing editor at national magazines including 'Fine Woodworking', 'Woodwork', and 'Popular Woodworking'. He now teaches nationally at schools, guilds, and woodworking shows in addition to running Blackburn Books, which publishes not only the 'Blackburn on Woodworking' series but also his own fiction.
