My 20 month old daughter shakes her head and dances to this toy for hours at a time. Barney teaches them how to say words and sounds and sings to them. The light show that appears on the belly keeps their attention.

My daughter loves this Barney. We took a trip to [our local store] to buy a birthday present with a gift card she got for her birthday and I was determined to let her pick what she wanted. After a long cruise through the store it was the Magical Barney that she stayed with for half an hour on the floor just playing with him. My decision was made. All the other toys she had played with were thrown on the shelf after 5 minutes. She sat on the floor with Barney and sang with him as well as talked to him like he was really there. She was definitely satisfied with Barney. To this day, she has tea parties with Barney and still talks to him all the time. Great job to the people who came up with that idea. Sincerely,

My daughter absolutely loves this Barney toy, but unfortunately the batteries go out after a day or 2. Quite ridiculous! The lights get stuck on and the next morning - Barney just won't dance and sing!!

My 18 month old daughter absolutely loves this toy. She carries it, as well as her other "collection" of Barney toys, all over the place. Great toy!!!

This toy is very cute, especially for Barney lovers! It sings a lot of different songs and lights up. The problem is that mine keeps running out of batteries after a day or so. It's ridiculous. I called Fisher Price and they said I can send it back to get it replaced, but I don't know, I might try one more set of batteries and see what happens.
