I am truly a fan of the Creative Juice TV Show and am just wowed over by the book. The pictures are fantastic and the instructions are clear enough for the beginner. The way Cathie and Steve take objects and recraft them into pieces of art, play, etc. amazes me, a veteran crafter. I love the chapters with kids ideas and easy to make jewelery. I will put them to use very soon as my grand daughters are coming to spend some of the summer with me. I have downloaded directions to many of the Creative Juice projects and now it is so great to have great color photos of the how-to's. Anyone who likes to craft or wants to begin to craft needs to buy this book!!!!!!

With all the green living, up cycling, and reuse redo this book fits the bill. Written by the people behind Creatve Juice, Cathie and Steve bring fresh, new ideas for a variety of easy and fun to do projects. This is one of my must have books. Amazon doesn't always keep it stocked so grab it when you can. You won't be sorry!

First of all, I want to say that I adore Steve and Cathy, and never missed an episode of "Creative Juice". That being said, it pains me to give this book a mediocre review! I expected much better projects to be included here. WHERE ARE ALL OF THEIR WONDERFUL HALLOWEEN CRAFTS??? The only way this book could be useful to me is if I took up sewing and bought different kinds of drills. I expected the crafts to be more varied, like they were on the TV show. On "Creative Juice" Steve and Cathy showed many projects that did not involve sewing or having to make major purchases at Home Depot! I'm so sad. Out of the 45 projects shown in the book, there are only 5 that I found interesting and practical enough to make. WHERE ARE THE GREAT RECIPES THEY MADE ON THE SHOW??? I don't know who chose which projects were to be included in this book, but they sure missed the boat!
