5.0 out of 5 stars High-Interest Reading for Kids July 3, 2005
As a homeschooling parent, I'm always looking for quality reading materials that my kids will enjoy. "Creative Kids" really achieves this goal. Both of my kids like reading the stories and playing the games in the magazine. My daughter has submitted work to the magazine for publication. Though her short story was rejected for publication, she did receive a very encouraging letter for the magazine's editor. I would recommend this publication to any parent seeking high-interest reading for their children.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wrong magazine March 10, 2004
By A Customer
The previous customer's review is not for this magazine. This magazine contains work by children 8-14 and is by kids, for kids. It showcases children's writing (stories and poems), artwork, and games. It is really a unique magazine and kids love it.
The customer is referring to the Better Homes and Garden magazine that has the same name.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Magazine is Really Cool! May 15, 2005
I love "Creative Kids" magazine! I've been a subscriber for three years. My favorite part is the puzzles and games, but the "Speak Out" section is cool too. I like that the magazine is written by kids like me -- it's not just a bunch of adults writing about what they think kids want to read. It's a totally cool magazine that any kid would like.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Magazine Written and Illustrated by Kids February 13, 2005
As the publisher of "Creative Kids," my opinion is going to be a little biased, but I wanted to address a couple of the reviews below. (1) Some people confuse "Creative Kids Magazine" with "Better Homes and Gardens, Creative Kids" -- a pretty reasonable point of confusion. The "Not What I Expected" review below is about the "Better Homes and Gardens" magazine, not "Creative Kids." (2) The "Definitely Not for the Average or Above Average Kid" review is a little trickier. The reader is right in that "Creative Kids" only publishes the very best work of kids nationally. The magazine has extremely "high standards." We're guilty as charged. However, I don't think a child needs to be a "genius" to read the stories, work the logic puzzles, find the hidden pictures, or laugh at the jokes we publish. "Creative Kids" features very talented kids writing for all kinds of readers.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Cut Above Other Magazines for Kids July 3, 2005
Simply put, this magazine is a cut above other magazines for kids that are out there. I was disappointed with most of the children's magazines that were available for my ten-year-old daughter. Then, I found "Creative Kids." Filled with the thoughts and ideas of actual kids, this magazine offers interesting and substantial opinion and fiction. It's really fun and intelligent reading for young people. My daughter really enjoys the magazine.
