I found these speakers on sale for $15 (orange only). I have bought numerous travel speakers lately for my portable DVD player, trying to find what suits me best. Compared to the other battery + DC travel speakers I have (Sony, Philips, Logitech) These seem to have the richest sound. Suprising since they are quite small. They wont replace your home HiFi unit, but for the size they are great.

Three Cons -
1. I dont know why speakers like these need bright LEDs on the front, you could almost use these as a flashlight.
2. I would realy love these to run on batteries as well, making them super portable. If they could use batteries, I would get rid of all my other speakers.
3. I know these arnt realy designed to be travel speakers, but I would have like something that you could put over the speaker to protect it, a cap or something.

I attach these babies to my creative MP3 player and crank the volume... magic. But seriously, I have had parties where the only sound system is this set of speakers, and its perfect. But they really do need to stay plugged in so if that is a problem... but then why would you be listing to speakers in the forest? Any way if you have the creative MP3 player and you like it, then you really should get these speakers. Besides there CHEEP...got for the budget!
