5.0 out of 5 stars Great webcam, and a great camera!
My dad actually got me this thing for Christmas and I was immediately impressed by how simple the operation is for this camera. At 2.1 mega pixels, this camera delivers surprisingly crisp pictures. And not like most webcams, you can take this camera anywhere and take pictures. It runs on 4 AAA batteries (included), and it adjusts to even the darkest of conditions...

3.0 out of 5 stars good daylight general purpose camera
hmmm

pc-cam 750 has it all.. video, audio, webcam, pictures.

and it works fine.. with one exception

lighting!

pictures are either too dark or too bright
donno what is the problem
works ok in daylight but not otherwise
so you have to take care in that regard

also it is a 1.3MP camera.. only interpolated to 2.1MP
it has a good sensor.. still...

When I did a video conference with my dad, the video on his end came in crisp using cable connections on both ends. The video recording feature on the webcam is also great, but I have yet to find a feasible use for it. For the money, this camera is well worth it's weight in gold.

5.0 out of 5 stars 2 thumbs up for Gerald Balmes, August 26, 2006
This review is from: Creative Labs Dual-Mode PC-Cam 750 (Personal Computers)
Can't thank him enough. Thanks for your honesty.Excellent camera.Have a 350 PC camera and I was really pleased with it.I dropped it and now battery compartment has to be taped shut,These cameras are very tough and can handle a lot of abuse.it still works good as though nothing happened. So glad I saw Geralds add for the 750 PC cam.Love the photos I have taken.Gerald even gave me the option of returning it ,if I was satisfied. Well I know who to come to if I want something.Way to go

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent WebCam & Digital Camera, February 13, 2006
This review is from: Creative Labs Dual-Mode PC-Cam 750 (Personal Computers)
I have in the past owned the 350 & 600 and was impressed with the features and clarity they both offered. The 350 is under 1 MP and the 600 is a 1MP. This 750 tops them all @ 2.1 MP. The dual fuctional webcam & digital camera with audio recording is an excellent value. Not to be offensive but this is a webcam-digital camera for dummies. I dont like complicated devices where you have to pour over a complicated instruction manual; then spend more time trying to figure out how to work the device. This is a point and shot easy to use device. Great for kids. We have droped ours twice and no adverse effect on the camera. Only 1 possible drawback is you have to 3ft to infinity auto focus. for shooting object less than 3ft I would not recommend this product. It is NOT a manual focus. The picture quality is excellent and so is the price.

Has a high & low density; less pic's on high density. Timed shutter. Auto or manual flash & live video. All this for around $100.00.

On the rear of the camera. Power button, Multiple snapshot (high resolution mode. Operation Mode Button. Single snapshot High Normal or Low resolution mode icon. Self-Timer single snapshot (high resolution). Audio cues enable icon. Image counter. Flash mode button.

As a webcam it has both audio video features. Operates very well under low lighting.

Comes with loads of Software.

We purchased ours from a 5 star 3rd party on Amazom and received excellent service.

it has a good sensor.. still does not perform as well as expected...

i would suggest you better buy a HP model available for $180 with optical zoom, lcd and memory slots than this one at $110
