Ever hear the saying, "You get what you pay for". Here is the epitome. As one of those noted writers quoted often, "Nuff Said"! I gave it to my mother in law.

I bought this webcam because the price was right and it wasn't a Logitech (whose webcams I've had bad luck with in the past). In the year I've been using it, I haven't had a single issue.

The webcam just works, plain and simple. No screwing around with drivers, no fussy installation CDs. I plugged it into the USB port (with a fairly generous cord length, I might add) and my computer detected it right away. The flexible base can stand up on its own, but also clips easily onto my monitor.

The lens is adjustable, and can be angled up or down depending on the height you need. The picture quality looks good and responds well to movement, even picking up light well in poorly-lit rooms. A small button on top lets you take photos with the webcam, which come out in decent quality from my experience. Nothing to replace your dSLR, but you can't ask too much from an inexpensive webcam.

One feature that I didn't even pay attention to before buying this webcam was the fact that it has a built-in microphone. When my faithful gaming headset crapped out on me, I was still able to communicate in games and on chat programs like Skype without a hitch. Awesome!

I have had this cam for over a year, have used it everyday and have not had one issue with it. I use it as a security camera, it comes with it's own monitoring software, zoom feature, and is very clear. I am currently looking for a second cam and will stick with the Creative name. I have had 2 Logitech brands in the past, but from personal experience, find the Creative to be superior, in installed software, features and price.
