My battery arrived sealed within its manufacturer packaging. However, when I opened it up I immediately felt that the battery was noticeably bulged in the center, so much in fact that it barely fit inside my Vado HD. Needless to say, the battery did not function and I had to return it for a refund. This isn't the first time I have heard of this problem with Creative's batteries, so I wasn't terribly surprised. I was simply disappointed that I happened to get a bad apple.

I charged this before I went to a wedding in a neighboring state. I brought my computer so I could charge this batter via USB, but I never needed to. I had this camera in my purse for two weeks. I played with the camera for several days, showing to everyone, and it drew a lot of attention. This is now the third week and it's still showing FULL charge!!!! What a gem!

I bought two brand new Vado, one did not work so I tried to exchange, but they were out of the model. So I swapped batteries and behold it worked. Turned out it was a bad battery. Tried working with Creative Labs (CL) for two weeks to get a new battery and they kept trying to send me back to the vendor. Finally, I decided to swallow my pride and just purchase two new batteries. Well what do you know, neither of them worked. So I contacted the seller to replace them, they said they would send me two new batteries....I'm still waiting and that was over a month ago. I am done with CL. I have read other reviews where people are having similar problems with these batteries.

This lithium-ion battery pack is rated for 1050mAH at 3.7V. Made in China.

Be mindful that the 2 hours is just for the most ideal situation. That is if you will shoot continuously without pausing or turning off the camera. In real life situation, you will be pausing after every clip and still your LCD will be on for a minute. I only get an hour and a few minutes more in normal use. Still, this battery is decent and not one of those cheapos that advertise with a gazillion mAhs but never deliver.

Before purchasing one of the Creative Labs Rechargeable Li-Ion Batteries, be sure to find out what the seller's return policy is. Some state upfront that they don't accept returns on batteries at all. One says returns considered only on unopened packages. So, if you get a dead battery, you're unlucky. Quite frustrating because I can't use the Vado without batteries, making my purchase worthless. I would rate this item zero stars if I could.

I owned my VADO HD for about a year, when it relatively suddenly stopped holding a charge. Even after charging for hours it would only run 2 or 3 minutes of recording before shutting itself down... rendering it completely useless. I spotted this replacement battery and wondered if it wouldn't extend the life of the little camera a bit longer so I could save up more money for a much better camera in a few months.

And it did. Popping the new battery in resolved the issue with the Vado HD, it now runs as if brand new again. I can't recall exactly what this battery cost, I want to say it was $11 or so, but if you have one of those 60 or 100 dollar VADO HDs that won't record more than a couple minutes anymore, try picking up one of these to fix it.

Like the previous reviewer stated This Battery Was 100% DOA when I put it in the Camera. It was so dead that it would not even accept a charge. I purchased the camera & battery from dell computer, the battery most probably outlived it's end date, I have read other reviews where people are having similar problems with these batteries. so BE AWARE.

I bought the Vado Camera at the same time I purchased the battery taking Amazons suggestion of People who purchased this also purchased this... JUNK! thank God the Battery that came with the actual camera was good It actually holds a charge for a very long time So I did not act upon sending the DOA back...Yet!

Arrived new in manufacturer's packaging. Would never take a charge, and never worked in the camera. Worthless. Upon inspection, there is slight bubbling on the bottom of the front of the battery. Clearly something went wrong. I recommend only purchasing these from local stores, so that you may easily return them when they don't work.

I purchased several creative labs rechargeable batteries and was thinking they are the original creative labs batteries. However, the ones that I have received are some unknown brand batteries!
