I am pleased I bought this book to add to my collection. The ideas are good and offers interesting suggestions to break our of your routine of making your usual cards. I have made and adapted a number of the cards and constanstly received rave reviews from the reciptants of my cards. Great buy, worth the money, have no problem recommending this book!

I love the pocket ideas to hold tags and have not made any of the cards identical to the ones in the book but I have mixed and matched lots of them to make my own unique creations....you will enjoy this book

This book is a great book with lots of colourful pictures to help you on your way or to help you mix and match. Paper sizes for the cards would have been a helpful addition for some of the cards. But all in all, a good book.

I really enjoy looking at all the beautiful greeting cards you can make for any occasion. This book has given me unlimited ideas for creating my own designer cards. Enjoy this book and get crafty!!!

As a past scrapbooker that has kind of lost interest, I have a lot of supplies that I wanted to make use of. Greeting cards seemed like a great idea! I picked up this little book, in addition to several others on card making. It was a worthwhile investment. It's filled with lots of ideas from very simple to quite complex. I like that each card has a list of products used in case you see an embellishment, stamp or paper you can't live without. That said, directions on creating these cards are very minimal. I wouldn't purchase this book if you are new to scrapbooking and/or card making. At least not as a stand alone manual. If, as I have, you've also purchased several other books with much more in depth discussions of how to create cards, then this would be a great extra for inspiration.

I have read several card making books and this one is by far my favorite. It's the only one I've found really geared toward scrapbookers. You know, those of us that aren't big into rubber stamping or cutting machines and just want to use our scraps to create beautiful and fun cards for our friends and family?

There are lots of ideas that you can easily adapt to fit your needs. For example, I used one of their father's day layouts as a thank you card for a male friend; and I took a holiday layout, changed the colors and made a birthday card out of it. I've already created 6 cards from this book and I've only had it for a month!

My only complaint is that there are no measurements, nor are there instructions on how to make envelopes to go with the cards. But again, you can easily adapt and make the card whatever size you want and I'm sure you can find templates online for envelopes. Plus, the individual card instructions are very general--easy enough for someone who's familiar with scrapbooking, but could be too vague or frustrating for a total beginner.

Overall, Creative Card Making for Scrapbookers is definitely worth picking up to have in your card making library.

A friend once showed me how to make cards. I was in awe at all the hard work that went into a personal card and decided I needed to know more. What a treat to be able to make a home-made card and give it as a special gift to a friend or family member. If you're creative and want to know more--buy this book.
