I never write reviews, but I have to say I took a gamble and got this for my daughters birthday. It blew the lightbulb just like the other review stated, pretty much within 5-10 minutes. We just went to Home Depot the next day and got another bulb. It works great, just the initial bulb issue. I would just have another one handy so its not an initial disappointment if this does happen.

We have a DJ business, and have been using this product for over 10 years now.
We use 2 of them sitting on our tower speakers as an added lighting attraction.
We have just purchased our 4th one after all these years. They will last a long time if you take care of them.

it worked fine...till 5 minutes later the light bulb wasted i had to go buy a new light bulb and now it works fine, other than the cheap light bulb it brings its a good item

Everything worked out of the box. My Granddaughter is delighted with it. Fast shipping and great product. It works great in a regular size bedroom.

The bulb that came with the light lasted for just a couple minutes. We purchased a new bulb and it has worked great since.

We wanted to get a "disco ball" for our daughter's room (5 year old) because she likes to dance to her music in there. This seems fine so far, quality is what you'd expect. The light it puts out is pretty bright and produces a very impressive "disco ball" effect. She loves it. The ball is about the size of a soccer ball, maybe a bit smaller.

My only complaint is that it's really just a bit expensive for what it is. But obviously that didn't prevent me from buying it. I looked around online and I decided to pay a bit more through Amazon that use a vendor I wasn't familiar with.

I think that the light bulb is not strong enough to endure all the shaking and shocking during the shipping process. But this is expected since I read all the reviews before I made purchase.

I bought a new light bulb and everything is fine.

Bought it for a small band gig we are gonna have. The package comes really secure and, as usual, amazon has been great with the shipping. The real problem I had was the bulb wasn't turning on THE FIRST TIME I tried it. The rotating ball is working so I figured out I just got a broken bulb. Bought a new bulb (bulb description at the bottom doesn't match the actual bulb you will need). Still wouldn't work. FML for throwing the box right away. Now I have this in my garage, useless

This item arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but the bulb was not attached to the fixture nor was it packed in protective materials. So, it just rattled around the box in transit and of course arrived broken. I could not find a link anywhere to actually contact the company and have a repl bulb sent, I was only directed to the returns page. All I wanted was a new bulb. I did not want to return the item, re-order the items, and wait again for it to arrive. Very annoying.
So, I decided to replace the bulb myself - not so easy. The size/wattage of the bulb is pretty unique, didn't find it in Lowe's or Home Depot. I wound up using a much larger bulb with the same wattage. Luckily it still fit and now this light functions perfectly.

I read the reviews and decided to by this item anyway.... I recieved it with no instructions and no reciept inside of the box. I'm an online shopper and this stroke me as odd! Took the ball out of the box and set it on top shelf of my 20 monthe old baby's TV stand. I have cathedral ceilings so when I turned it on, I absolutely loved it its projection! However, when I returned to my baby's room in a couple of hours to check on him, I noticed the ball had stopped rotating!!!! I tried turning it off and then back on. It started rotating again but the rotation got slower by the second and shortly after, it stopped completely! It seems to me that the power generator isn't strong enough to rotate the big ball! I need a replacement and I hope the ball will be inspected before getting shipped out to me. If it wasn't for the defective malfunction, I'd give it 4.5 stars taking half a point away for the cheap quality of the item....
