I got this storage tote to keep the little parts I use in crafts organized and allow me to work in different parts of the house as I pleased.

I was initially quite happy; all of the trays were just the right size for the parts, and the bottom area held all of the associated tools. There are also removable separators so you can further divide the containers into smaller areas.

I quickly and painfully discovered however that the rounded bottom and top-heavy design of this container mean that it knocks over very easily. I accidentally bumped it reaching for it on the floor and it tipped right over and, despite the fact that it was closed and latched, several small parts spilled through a gap near the latch and out onto the carpet. When I opened it I was expecting some parts to have fallen into the lower bin area, but everything from the top tray had fallen in to the lower bin--not a single part remained.

While I wasn't expecting this to be perfect or be able to drop it down the stairs with no consequence, there is absolutely no protection to keep your parts in place. Since the purpose of this container is to organize multiple small parts, this is a huge drawback in my opinion, particularly because it tips over so easily.

This was given as a Christmas gift to my Granddaughter. She is using it for her sewing items. It is nice and sturdy and holds everything she needs.
