3.0 out of 5 stars Cheap... but... cheap., November 23, 2002

This review is from: Creative Labs WebCam (USB) (Personal Computers)
This webcam is pretty inexpensive, but the quality is very bad. The image is extremely noisy, and that affects very badly the ability of the codecs to encode the video efficiently. In other words, If you can't afford to get a slightly better camera, I guess it's ok. If you can, buy something a more expensive.

4.0 out of 5 stars [inexpensive] and easy, July 9, 2002
This review is from: Creative Labs WebCam (USB) (Personal Computers)
it's easy to install, it's [inexpensive], and it does the trick. if you want to show someone somebody and not want to spent too much money this is it. the only downside is that the focus is not all that impressive.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor image quality, May 25, 2003
This review is from: Creative Labs WebCam (USB) (Personal Computers)
This webcam by Creative Labs is not too good. The image quality is poor even by webcam standard, and it does *not* have auto focus, which means you have to adjust the focus ring each time you move. Unlike Logitech's ClickSmart, you cannot use this one as a take-along digital camera. And even Ezonics makes cheaper and better-quality webcams than this.
