missing button
This product is great if you have a creative zen media center, all the navigation buttons are there except for the on/off buton which should be there since it would help if you are far away from the zen. Except for that, it is a great product

IR Remote did not work at all for Zen Media Center
I ordered this item in the expectation that it would make MP3 listening and other tasks much more convenient when the Zen Media center is hooked up to my home theater receiver. Unfortunately, it did not work at all. The remote would not operate any function whatsoever on the Creative Zen Media Center. I checked the new battery in the new remote, which I ordered right...

I ordered this item in the expectation that it would make MP3 listening and other tasks much more convenient when the Zen Media center is hooked up to my home theater receiver. Unfortunately, it did not work at all. The remote would not operate any function whatsoever on the Creative Zen Media Center. I checked the new battery in the new remote, which I ordered right here on Amazon.com and the battery was fine. I then emailed Creative customer support and they suggested that I update the firmware for my Zen Media Center. I did this and in the process lost all of my media on the Zen. With that update completed, I still had no control of the Media Center with the new IR remote. More emails and more frustration brought no more information unfortunately and Creative suggested that I return the remote to my dealer (Amazon). Amazon handled the return with no problem and promised a replacement. Unfortunately, Amazon no longer stocks the item and they never sent me a new remote to replace my return, so I guess I will never know if that was a defective remote or if the Zen Media Center is just not compatible. All in all not a great experience.
