5.0 out of 5 stars Great item for the money
The product arrived promptly. My Creative Zen V Plus fit perfectly into the case without difficulty, and wasn't too snug. I did cut a larger opening for the power button, and this works well for me. As for the armband, it has stretch and "give", which makes it comfortable.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very helpful
I thought it would protect my player, but the belt and clip system is clumsy. The case does not cover the screen, the part I worry about the most. My MP3 has to be reset often ?????, and the cover doesn't have any opening for the iddy-bitty little hole that you need to reset the player. I gave it two stars only because it does protect it some when dropped, which I do...

This review is from: Creative Lab Zen V and V Plus 1GB 2GB 4GB Solid Color Silicone Skin Case Cover with Accessories Pack - Armband - Belt Clip - Lanyard Handstrap - 6 Color Options (Electronics)
The product arrived promptly. My Creative Zen V Plus fit perfectly into the case without difficulty, and wasn't too snug. I did cut a larger opening for the power button, and this works well for me. As for the armband, it has stretch and "give", which makes it comfortable.

Here is how to attach the clip (you may want to put your Zen in the case first, but it doesn't really matter):
You should have received two discs and the clip: One disc is flat on one side and a screw post on the other side, and the other disc has a hole and a raised "button". The belt clip has a solid side, and an "open" side with an open circle at the bottom.

1. Take the disc with the raised button and slide it into the slot in the clip that has an "open" side (like sticking a coin in a gum ball machine). The disc with the raised button will snap into the open circle . The little screw hole of the disc is now facing the outside and is flush with the disc, and the disc is attached to the clip.

2. Now take the other disc, the flat disc with the post, and put it inside the player case so the flat side will be against your player and the post will stick out through the little hole in the back of the case.

3. Now take the belt clip, with the screw hole facing out, and screw it into the post that is sticking out of the player case. You're finished. The clip will swivel, which is a nice feature.

As for the arm band, just weave it through the two vertical slots in the back of the case, Velcro toward the case. It may seem awkward to have the clip against your arm, but I don't find this bothersome since the arm band has elasticity, and my arm has some padding :-)

This review is from: Creative Lab Zen V and V Plus 1GB 2GB 4GB Solid Color Silicone Skin Case Cover with Accessories Pack - Armband - Belt Clip - Lanyard Handstrap - 6 Color Options (Electronics)
This product arrived very quickly although the S&H was almost the price of the item. There are zero instructions explaining how to attach the arm band or belt clip to the rubber case. The buttons on the right side of the Zen V Plus are covered so I have to remove the case in order to use the power or volume buttons. The screen has no protection.

If anyone can explain how to attach the arm and belt clip to the case, this would really be appreciated. I am too old and tired to try and figure it out.

I have already ordered another kit (a leather case with a belt clip) which I hope will be easier to use and not require any assembly.

4.0 out of 5 stars works great, February 2, 2007

This product is exactly like it said. The clip is not as sturdy as I thought it was. I do not even use it. The armband works fine and the blue cover is good too. It fits perfectly with the Zen. One recommendation I would have for the company is to add a plastic onto the cover where the screen is. This will keep the dust away. There is no need for the screen to be exposed since it is not a touchscreen. Other than that, the product is exactly what you paid for.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good case, but a few problmes, June 20, 2007

This review is from: Creative Lab Zen V and V Plus 1GB 2GB 4GB Solid Color Silicone Skin Case Cover with Accessories Pack - Armband - Belt Clip - Lanyard Handstrap - 6 Color Options (Electronics)
The case came very quickly using standard shipping, and it fits the player very nicely.

I have only 3 problems:
1) the belt slip spins, but too freely, it doen't lock in place when you want it to.
2) The back of the case is loose, it doesn't fit tightly to the player
3) The case makes it somewhat difficult to reach the power/hold bar.

Overall, these minor problmes don't detract from the overall quality of the case, and it is definitely a good deal for the money you pay.

The quality of this product is marginal. The clip does not fit on securely so the player does not stay upright while clipped on.

The case itself is ok, the rest is junk. Watch the shipping on it, it is outrageous.

3.0 out of 5 stars cheesy, March 20, 2007
I was needing a clip for my belt and had to buy the whole kit to get it. Loved the skin but the clip it self was made out of cheep thin plastic and seems a little unstable. It does the job but I thought I would be getting a clip similar to the clip that came with my older Creative MP3. The player spins around on the clip instead of staying in one place.

4.0 out of 5 stars does the job, March 20, 2007

When I got the bill and realized how much I paid for shipping (almost as much as the actual silicon thing, I felt ripped off. Nonetheless, the actual product is fine - does just what it says it will.

I was nervous when I got this case first, because I thought the MP3 player would be a bit bigger. But I was wrong, it fits perfectly, and I love have the armband for working out!! Now if I can just figure out how to get my MP3 player to work properly, I'll be in business!!
