I received this as a gift recently. I didn't even know this type of product existed for my Shuffle. The sound is really good and has strong volume for the small zize of the speaker. It easily fits into your bag or pocket for on the go use.

It's great that there is a wall charger included with this product to charge it's rechargeable battery. It also charges your Shuffle if you have it attached. The only downside I notice is that the cover for the Shuffle at the top of the product tends to come off on it's own if you just throw the product in your bag or backpack. It should have some kind of release so that doesn't happen.

It's a nifty little item and I like that they can be plugged in simultaneously for charging. However I expected it to have better sound for the price I paid. It sounds very, very tinny, w/ no bass at all. That would be expected if I'd paid $20 or so, but not for over $50. I would not recommend it.

I thought this speaker was totally overpriced, and it definitely can't fill a room with sound.

That said, as a personal speaker I use it in the kitchen when I cook and at my desk at work. It's perfect when you want to enjoy music and not disturb others. My roommate can't hear it in her room, and my boss can't hear it in his office, yet the sound is perfect in whatever area I'm working in, and it's really nice not to have headphones in.

I still think the price is a little high, but I am *totally* glad I bought it!

This speaker provides amazing sound for the little shuffle. I may never need to use my other ipods again. You can take it anywhere and the charge lasts even longer than the 15 hours. Great to charge both speaker and shuffle at the same time. I highly recommend this little speaker with huge sound

Purchased the TravelSound i50 for my brother with Cerebral Palsy...rather than have him driving his wheelchair around with earbuds, he can simply hook the TravelSound i50 onto himself and still enjoy his iPod...volume control is easy for him to manage with his limited use fingers.
Surprisingly for such a small device the sound quality was rather impressive.

Amazing little speaker. Wonderful to be able to carry my shuffle with me and not have to wear buds to listen to it. It fits in my pocket, amazing portability and good sound for the $. Love it.

I bought this product for my younger brother who suffers from multiple medical problems including autism. He is always asking for music, which use to mean changing a cd every 45 minutes. This product along with the Ipod shuffle is great for both my brother and my parents well-being. The sound is very clear and can go pretty loud. I highly recommend it.

For such a small speaker I was expecting a more brassy sound. Although the bass is weak, the overall sound quality and clarity is excellent. The tonal quality is also impressive. I love the hook feature making it easy to take on any trip or adventure. I purchased my speaker dock to listen to music while bike riding, the hook clip allows me to connect it to my handlebars while road riding or to my camelback while mountain biking.
There are less expensive units on the market but this item is well worth the money!!!

Got it today. Fully charged it and now testing if indeed it will last 15 hours. So far it's been 8 hours and still consistent. All in all, it's a good buy. I've been walking around the house with it hanging on my belt. My nitpicks:

1. The transparent cover for the shuffle is a bit loose. I always check if it's still there for I'm afraid it will get easily knocked over and I won't notice where I'd drop it. As I said, I've been walking around the house...I like the concept that it has this cover but I'd like it to be more secure. I also think it will be great if there are buttons outside this cover that we can easily use the shuffles navigation. This is for ease of changing the music or volume while the cover is in place. As it is, to do that, one has to remove the cover.

2. To attach the holder as instructed does not make sense to me. If you do that, and it's easily done, the metal buckle hits the base of the transparent cover, making an angle for the holder and this is annoying. I inserted the holder from the top and this is not easily done. I had to pry the tip of the holder out of the little opening. I think this can be easily solved if they made the base of that little opening on an angle.

3. This thing is small and that's great. I did not expect the sound to be spectacular. I definitely did not expect it to be good with base. But if you have a music that is heavy on base, it creates this tiny buzzing sound and that's annoying. But all in all I am happy with the sound.

4. How hard is it to put an opening on the side of the speaker so that we can attach an earphone? I'd like to have that option. If I want to do that, I have to detach the shuffle and use it with the earphone as usual.

Creative TravelSound i50 Great sound for price, I was pleasantly surprised to the extent of the speaker and how clear and loud it could emit sound. Bass isnt much but thats to be expected from a small speaker. Great little travel speaker would recommended for shuffle users.
