I am fortunate to have studied with Al's daughter in Dallas. She is a very accomplished, talented, well-known, artist/teacher like her father. This book walks you through techniques and is sprinkled with inspired thoughts that will motivate and inform the water media artist - or any visual artist for that matter. Even though the book was published years ago, the information is timeless. It is one of the most treasured books in my art library that I enjoy re-reading again and again.
