4.0 out of 5 stars Autistic Kid Loves It, September 28, 2004
This review is from: Arthur's Reading Race (CD-ROM)
My 7-year old autistic daughter loves this game and will play with it for hours.

She can already read, better than the level this game is targetted for, but what she loves is all the fun animations from all the clickable hotspots.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great game, my daughter is already sassy anyway, January 5, 2004
This review is from: Arthur's Reading Race (CD-ROM)
Great story with lots of interactive stuff to click on to keep youngsters interested.

The reading race game is excellent, however the authors did not include nearly enough words in the game to keep it interesting long term. A real shame, as the game itself is motivating and educational and would have real value in teaching spelling and word recognition skills if only the dictionary was larger.

The previews of other games are a great addition - good advertising for the publishers and very entertaining in their own right.

This is a good game that will help your children to learn to read. This game will work with Windows XP Home Edition if you run it in compatibility mode.
