See update below: I am enjoying this little MP3 player very much. The rewind is fast and uncomplicated. It holds a lot of books, and I like the earbuds. I especially like the fact that it plays almost every type audio book on the market - including protected WMA. Very good price for the quality.

The only Cons are that it occasionally freezes up, but it's easy to reset. Also the buttons are hard to distinguish one from another in the dark. I like to be able to work the controls without having to look at the buttons. I wish a couple of them were at least textured.

Update: this player turned out to be a dud. I'm sorry if my review caused others to buy it. The freezing up became a constant problem, especially when trying to go back in an audio book. I had to stop using it after a very short time.

This MP3 player is beautiful. It worked right out of the box for me. All you need to do is plug this baby in, sync your music with WMP, itunes plus, or the program it comes with, and your all set. Not only does it have a built in speaker and microphone, but it also has an FM tuner, which can be nice from time to time in case you like to listen to talk radio or scan for new music. No need for any add ons aside from a case; this beauty has it all. The only problem I have is that sometimes it freezes. But this is solved easily with the handy reset button (try doing that with a iPod). Oh, and did I mention that it's $60 cheaper than a iPod nano?

so far, I'm very satisfied with my Mosaic. I need to learn a few things about it, as it is different than my other MP3 player. but I like it so far.
