Creative Zen Vision:M USB 2.0 Sync and Charger Data Cable

When I plug this cable into my Zen Vision: M 60GB, it locks it up; forcing me to reset the player. Then, for whatever reason, after I reset it and wait for it to Rebuild, it charges it just fine. You get what you pay for and I highly recommend not being dumb like I was. Just go pick up another Sync Adapter from Creative if you really need a second charger or sync cable.

I was able to use my vision m unit, and listen to my music, worth twice the price. prompt shipping, I am a very happy camper once again,!!!

Not really much to say - it's a sync cable and a charger cable.

Sync: It works fine for me, using a program called Media Monkey to transfer my files. I don't know how it works on bulk transfers (full libraries and the like) but on the eight songs I have uploaded, they work fine.

Charging: Plugged into my brothers' PS3 controller charging dock, I can listen to my music through speakers and have it charge. After about an hour or so, it's half charged from fully dead. This is with music being played during the charging.

I do not know whether it is the Creative Zen program or defective hardware that locks up the other customers' players. However, mine works perfectly fine. It's a simple enough product, and for myself at least it works and meets expectations.

The cable will regonize my zen vision:m but it just fails when I try to put any actual music on the player. Not only did the cable succeed in not serving its function, but it also succeeded in locking up my player (which has yet to unlock as I am writing this review...) So if you want a device that doesn't tranfer data, freezes your zen vision, and is liable to break in a couple months (doesn't seem very sturdy), this is your product.

You just have to buy this if you own a creative zen m. Don't waste money buying the extra dongle or to replace one you lost. You can buy this for cheaper and you can't really lose it again.
Some say this might break easier, but god...it's $5! The dongle is about $20ish...you can buy like 4 of these and it might outlast your zvm and you won't lose it. Even if you lose it, you'll still have plenty more if you actually bought 4 of them o.O

I was wanting a data cable to transfer music to my Zen. This is purely a power cable. You cannot transfer data with this.
