Creativity For Kids Fast Car Race Cars

Overall, this was a great gift for my nephew, who is 5 1/2. He enjoyed decorating the cars, and then racing them with his dad. They go surprisingly fast given that it is just a pull-back action. The only problem was that the wheel on one car kept falling off (until fixed with some tape). Otherwise, 5 stars for creativity and fun. Also, he continued to play with the racing aspect of the cars for many days after he finished painting them.

We got these for our son's 5th birthday party. He and his friends painted them as they arrived, then after cake put on the stickers. Once stickers were on, they raced them. They got to take them home (rather than the traditional goody bag of junk). My only complaint is that the stickers don't stick well. One also broke, although a year later, the ones that my boys made are still in tact.
These were really great and served our purpose very well.

I bought this for my 4 year old nephew and he couldn't wait to start painting. I have to tell you - he did a great job! He was very content and couldn't wait for the paint to dry so he could play with them.

Knowing this brand, I had high expectations for this product. While the overall concept is good, the details are lacking. In the picture, the cars look like aerodynamic race cars. In reality, they are shaped more like half-ovals on wheels. After painting their cars, my kids were very excited to add racing stripes and flames to their creations, but the "stickers" didn't stick at all. Even with glue, getting them to stay on was a challenge. I believe the instructions may have said to apply stickers first, then paint, but that is ridiculous. What kid wants to risk painting over their stickers? A clear varnish that would seal the stickers to the cars would be a HUGE improvement for this product. I am going to look into something like that to give our cars that finishing touch. The cars are pull and go, which is nice, and in general my kids really enjoyed painting the cars. On this one, the devil was in the details.

My son (41/2 yrs)got this as his christmas gift & he absolutely loved it from first sight. Painting the car is soo much fun both for me & for him ;-) Thoroughly enjoyed painting the cars & sticking the stickers. The stickers are not that effective to stick in the cars, but thats OK i guess.....from now on, am gonna buy lots of painting toys for my son so that I cud enjoy it :-) Highly recommended for big boys - cars & paint - whats not to love abt it? ;-)

This is an excellent craft project for kids that can then provide hours of additional amusement. It's great for a rainy day or as a fun project to do together. Once completed the cars can be raced or used as decoration.

I gave it all 5 stars just because my nephew loved it so much. He is very hard to please at 9 yrs old and this was something he really enjoyed. He likes hands on things and race cars so there you go.

My grandsons love to paint things. They really painting and detailing these little wooden race cars and had races all afternoon with them. Not sure how much they were played with after that, but the veh are very durable and will last a long time.
