Sounds like fun, right? Paint the bamboo rods and then string them to make a wind chime.

Unfortunately, the materials included in this kit are inadequate to produce the final result pictured. The majority of beads cannot be threaded on the cord included (cord is too thick), and it is almost impossible to get the cord through the bamboo rods themselves (we managed only 2 out of 6).

A seemingly fun project for a kid turned into a long afternoon of frustration for a mom.
