Fritz Leiber was one of the greatest science fiction and fantasy writers of the mid-twentieth century. His themes often touched on the ridiculous aspects of our society's mores, and fashions, and often about technology gone wrong. This is a story about a good idea gone astray...you might say with a mind of its own. An executive looking for the next big idea gets a suggestion from his friend, how about something that can remind you about appointments and help you throughout the day? It all starts innocently enough. By the way, if you saw the animated movie "Meet the Robinsons", you might recognize something from here.
