This book is one part fiction, one part monster manual, and one part art portfolio. With a nice three pronged attack like that, with each aspect being of the highest quality, you can not go wrong. The fiction tells about a group that travels the country sides of Europe cataloging the demons of the future world of Engel. There are a lot of twists and turns, and the story has a lot of really deep and interesting characters. So the book is worth the money for the story alone, but it still provides an army of wonderful drawings and a list of sinister Dreamseed for you Engel game (or any D20 game for that matter).

Simply put, this is the best game suppliment ever for the best RPG ever! You shouldn't miss this for the world!

This book is an account about Creatures made of Dreams and Nightmares. It follows through the writings of a strong-willed man whose sanity is tested and troubled by the creatures he encounters. As with all Engel works, it is a book of history, and the accounts are poetic in form and mythical in measure. The text flows from one horror to the next with both an accurate and beautific description that not only describes the specifics of these creatures of darkness, but also conveys their mystery and dark glory. A suggested read for anyone who enjoys both biblical legends and futuristic horror. Engel in all is an unparalleled work of storytelling.
