When I bought this book I thought it was just going to tell me how to play the game and that's that, but it said a lot more! Not only does it tell you how to play the game, but it also gives you web addresses for extensive help (or anything to do with the game, for that matter), How to use "kits" that don't even come with the game, and it tells you all about the chemicals, genetics, and brain. For months of fun and knowledge of the game, I suggest you get this book! It also makes the game more interesting for a longer period of time!

when i play it it feels like you know their futere. you can watch them do their first step. learn more,do execiting things,and see what they do!

I was having trouble with Creatures and this book really helped!

Through every single subject, I found the book to know exactly what I wondered! It really helped me in the first couple of days, and by a month playing with the book at my side, I was pretty much a pro! Thank god for that book!

This book might save a few heartaches for people just starting to play Creatures. It gives specific information regarding Norn care and breeding, including information on the dangers in the Norns' environment. If you've been killing Norns left and right, this book might help.

On the other hand, I am not sure that there is too much information here that can't be had off the net, contact with other Creature's players, reading the booklet enclosed with the game, and/or playing long enough. It's probably a pass for people who have been playing for months. People who bought the Genetics Kit might want it for the section on that.
